I found India by the bathroom, hand on her throat with thin yellow ooze seeping from her neck. She looked half crazed as her eyes met my eyes. Fear and anger were heating those coal black eyes. My heart stopped when I realized what was wrong. Darius stood of to the side hands held out like he was trying to tame an wild animal.

"India, please calm down. Its not a big deal", he said. I glanced behind him to see Tessa crying.

"Not a big deal", she shrieked. Her face was turning to a dark red. I realized something in the same second. She couldn't say anything about it in public, half the town's high school was present. I reached her just in time, before she opened her mouth.

"Indy, not here, it's to crowded", I said looking around. She looked around and realized the same thing. I saw her battling the urge to keep talking. She suddenly broke down into tears,

"I'm going into transition, Azoro. He put enough venom in me and now I'm either die or become a monster", she sobbed. I turned onto Darius, he had the nerve to look like it was a everyday thing. I grabbed him by the name neck and and slammed him against the wall.

"If we weren't in a human crowded warehouse, you'll be dead now",  I whispered softly. Fear and guilt ran through his eyes which only fueled my anger. Should've thought of that before he turned her. I felt Eric pry my fingers from around Darius's neck and pulled me back. I gritted my teeth in rage, I wanted so badly to kill him. And not only was he a vampire who dates my bestfriend but also a vampire who just turned India. I walked back over to Indy, she was crumpled up on the ground panic and disbelief running over her body. I sat down next to her as the Rahuls slowly began to usher everyone out. They kept glancing at us like was the heck was going on.

"Take me home Azoro", she whimpered. I lifted her up into my arms and saw Tessa move forward on the corner of my eye.

"Back away", India yelled angrily. Tessa looked at me pleadingly. Whatever her part in this was bad too. I shook my head and approached June.

"Can she ride with you in your Hummer", I asked. June nodded and removed India's hand from her neck. Two thin puncture wounds gleamed with venom looked back at me. I didn't know much about vampires. Only the transition of one, and the bloodlust. It took some years for a young vampire to get use to human blood. All the body advancements and changes could make one go into denial or rage. I followed June to her car and whispered to India that she was going to be okay and that she shouldn't worry. I didn't even remember what I said only that she'll be fine. It was lie, this isn't something that should be forced upon someone.

June helped me make her comfortable as possible in the back seat with a blanket over her. She looked asleep.

"Why is she asleep, I wouldn't be able to do it after I got bite", I asked June. She looked back at India with sad eyes.

"She's dying, don't panic she'll wake up fine. She has to decide if she wants to die or live", she answered.

"If she chooses to be a vampire it isn't living", I said retorted. She nodded,

"It's up to her",

"Why would Darius do that. If there weren't any humans around I would've killed him. I was so close, just shove my hand in his chest and rip out his heart", I said closing my eyes and imagining it happening.

"Don't worry, I'll have him sent to the council with Tessa. Seems she played a part in this", June offered.

"Thank you", I said grateful. She gave me a tender smile,

"I forced in being a vampire by a stranger one night. My parents were human then, but on my 17th birthday I was attacked. Long story short I am what I am now", I didn't say anything so I wouldn't disturb her thinking.

"Can you tell me how turning to a vampire works", I asked as I watch India breath rapidly.

"Of course. Let's see, if 2 fluid oz of venom is injected somewhere in the body then the venom attacks the heart till it stops. When the blood finally slows for the venom to actually connect to the cells then it brings the heart back but as a supernatural creature. The body is faster, stronger, and better than a humans. One draw back his how thirsty the vampire will be for blood. Their eyes will turn to a red as they stalk their prey. And the cells never die which gives the host immortality, a thing most naive humans want", she sighed.

"And the only thing that kills then is a stake to the heart or the absence of a heart, right", I asked, even though I knew the answer. She nodded in agreement.

"Yeah,...Azoro... I can call you that right",

"Yeah",

"When she wakes up get me as soon as possible, I can help her control herself",

"I will call you as soon as she wakes up", I said.

"Good, I will need and I want you to give her this", she said and pulled out a blood bag with Mayfield written on it. I took it easily, blood made me weak. I put it aside.

"While we drive back can you tell me the story now, about Asyrd and everything", I asked. She nodded slowly, Her mind apparently bothered. She hesitated before answering, maybe she shouldn't have told me but then I would've just found out later.

"Yeah, Asyrd is my...my Uncle",
