I awoke to India gorgeous face, you can imagine what I felt when I saw her without thinking. It was peaceful until she pulled me from my seat. I landed on the floor with a solid thud and groaned.
"Really India, what's your problem", I growled. I stood up and dusted myself off.
"The princess wants to meet you. There's a lot of stuff to catch up on when you join the guards of royalty. I'll teach you the ropes", she said clasping my shoulder and wheeling me to the door.
"Where's that girl Tessa", I asked. India gave me a look that I couldn't really figure out.
"Worrying for her already", she asked. I shrugged and looked around. We landed somewhere in the plains because it was an open field with brownish looking stalks of grass. In front of me was a cottage. It was simple and neat looking. The roof was a dark pink while the house itself was pure white with two simple windows. About one mile behind the cottage was a huge mansion. It was a dull brown and stood with an stone wall around it. Two miles east and west of us was more cottages. I'm guessing this was the circle surrounding the mansion.
"Couldn't an entire army just brush clean past us and storm the mansion. I mean, look how wide apart the cottages are", I pointed out. India smiled briefly,
"There are bombs itching to go off if more than twenty people walk past the cottage. We'll be protected from them though, because the cottage are made from titanium. It can also be manually detonated from the security room inside", she explained. I looked over at the mansion.
"Okay, so that's the house, but where is the school", she turned east of us.
"About five miles down that way", I looked over and saw trees. I frowned, never mind. This wasn't a plain but a forest, this area must have been cleared for this.
"So you ready to wash and clean up. The princess expects to see you soon", she said breaking my thoughts. I nodded,
"But I still want to know where Tessa is", I added. She sighed,
"The girl already left, she'll be at her her dorm on campus of the school by now. So can we please get ready", she asked. I turned around and looked at the mini airport less than ten feet away. I felt India grab my hand and pull me the rest of the way to the house.
The inside of the cottage was cold, which felt good on my hot skin. I didn't realize that I was hot until I walked inside. The living room had a single white floral couch and and a circle brown rug underneath it. It also had fireplace and a air conditioner. A flat screen TV stood up on a brown table and was playing some cartoon. India showed me our room. It was huge enough to be split down the middle. She had installed up a retractable curtain to separate both of our sides.
"The shower is across from us and the kitchen is next to the living room if you get hungry. I'm going to wash so, look around and get familiar with the place. After all this will be your home for a year", she said grabbing a towel.
I did as she said and looked around. Everywhere I went I could smell India's scent. It seemed that she been here for a long time, I flipped through her CDs to find some music but I couldn't find anything I liked. I went outside in the back to discover another room off to the side. I went in to find gym weights and other workout equipment. I got bored and went to find my stuff in a closet already on my side of the room. It felt creepy that they put my stuff up themselves, like I didn't want to wear it anymore. I sighed and sat down on the bed and thought of what Jen said. I don't need to get over of wanting to kill vampires. I just want to kill Asyrd and that's it, that's the only reason I will accept getting graduated. Speaking of it I'll need to ask India when the witch will arrive. She'll need to freeze my age and make me stronger. Right now I could kill a good amount, but I'll be better when I become a full Rahul.
I heard footsteps approaching the door. India must be done washing, I grabbed some clean clothes and I towel that I already had prepared.
"Have you seen my white pants", she asked. I turned and almost choked, India was in a pink shirt which hung to her slim body and showed her curves. And she wasn't wearing pants only wore her underwear, I tried to keep my eyes up but I was so distracted. She saw my gaze and smiled teasingly.
"Get use to it. I use to do this a lot and I'm not changing for you", she said. I turned my eyes away as she rummaged through her closet.
"Umm, I doubt I'll get use to it", I said. I heard her pull on her pants and zip it up. I finally turned back,
"Well please do, I don't want my boyfriend to kill you", she said tiredly. I stood up and gave her a crazed look.
"I can promise you that won't ever happen. I will find pleasure in ripping his heart from his chest", I said smiling cruelly. She grinned,
"Sure you will then I'll have to beat you", she said and playfully hit me in the jaw. I laughed and shook my head.
"Yeah, yeah. Now I'm go wash and be out in ten minutes. I don't care if the princess is impatient and spoiled. I'm do what I want as fast or slow as I please. I'm not born to obey vampires", I said and left to the bathroom. Working for a vampire for a year will be harsh and I hope after this year Asyrd will be alive so I could end his life. Or perhaps I'll do it this year. Whichever, I don't care if they put me in a cell.
