"Happy birthday babe!" Megan wakes me up, lightly shaking me.

"Who's birthday?" I ask deliriously.

"You obviously, idiot." Megan says and   helps me up from bed. I sit up and see the gift wrapped box in her hands.

"Take this." She says handing me the box hastily. "Open it now!" She orders.

"I know what it is." I say, as I open the box. Inside this small box are billions of chocolates, to which we add 10 each year.

"How many chocolates this year?" I ask.

"Umm.. maybe.. What number we started with?" She asks back.

"I think 20." I answer and we both sit and calculate a ridiculous problem.

"170 obviously." I say about one minute later.

"Oh yeah." She answers as though not very proud of her calculating. "Anyways now just get that chocolate in your mouth already!"

I grab a few and stuff them in my mouth and she does the same.

"happy bwithday" she says, bits of chocolate falling out.

"Gross." I make a face.

We finish almost half of the chocolates and Tyler enters the room.

"Me?!" He says, his eyes popping out as he sees the amount of chocolate stuffed in our mouth. He runs over to our bed and gulps down few of them.

"Not for you!" I and Meg shout simultaneously at Tyler in horror.

"Oops." He says with a sly smile. He goes over and sits on a couch getting out his phone. "By the way, Brian said he is coming in a minute."

Why does his name ring a bell in me?

"Meg, Bryan who?" I ask. The name feels too familiar coming from me. I'm hell load of confused. My head used to hurt even thinking of the accident and all that happened later, but now it doesn't. Not a bit.

"Bryan Colton. He's joined us in senior year. Don't you remember?" Meg answered.

"No." I said and sighed deeply. "His name rings something in me."

"You're recovering Ash!" Tyler says standing up and walking toward me.

The doctor enters the room right at that moment. "Ashley! Let me see your left hand now." He says and examines my left arm.

"Woah! It has healed now! Just be a bit careful though." He says beaming at me.

"Thanks Doc!" I smile back.

"Listen, Ashley. There are some things you need to know and talk about, remember? I am leaving that job to my trusted therapist Caren. I am discharging you today. You complete the therapy and you will be fine again. Okay?" He says and leaves a card on the table next to me and leaves.

"Yay! You're discharged my love!" Meg says happily.

"Yes. I am looking forward to this therapy though. I want to know some things." I say.

And I knew I was right. But one thing. I didn't want to know some thing, I had to know some thing.
