Maxon's Mistake COMPLETED

America's POV

     I turn around and see Maxon looking at me. He reaches up and tugs his ear and smiles. I laugh surprised he still remembers that. Then he walks toward me. 

"And how have you been Lady America?" He says using a funny tone showing me his joking side.

"Good and you, your majesty." I say curtsying while using a weird tone to show I'm joking around.

"Let's go somewhere quiet to talk shall we?" He says gesturing towards the gardens.

"Yes. We shall." When we get to the gardens he sits me down on the same bench we've always been. Then he starts to talk.

"I'll go first I usually I would have said I don't need you in my life and I don't love you anymore but I'm tired of lying to myself, America I miss you, your smile, your laugh, and ear tugging, but I need to trust you again so will you give me another chance, and we can start over." Maxon says looking me in the eyes with those eyes I fell in love with.

"Yes." I whisper. I'm scared honestly about this. Last time I got hurt badly and now he wants another chance. The only problem is I can't say no to the man I love. He grabs me and kisses me. Man. I've missed him. It takes me a minute to think properly of why I'm doing this. Then I go on reflex. His lips on mine moving in sync I feel like I'm floating. We start getting heated before he pulls away gently. His thumb moving across my lips while his hands are on my cheeks.

"I'm guessing if we start over we have to take it slow huh?" He asks droping my cheeks,and grabbing my hand and his hand starts traveling my arm and, then he moves to my wrist where he probably felt bumps (scars) there. He turns my hand over and looks at them, but he shrugs them off, and keeps rubbing them like he needs too. Even though he has no clue why they're there. I guess I better distract him before he asks.

"We should stop but what's the fun in that." I say and start kissing him again it takes a minute then he responds and I'm in heaven. For once.

     "Ladies now that you're  back in the selections you have an assignment you can either 1 do a assignment live on the repot about something you found on one of the elite like a hidden talent, or something interesting you found out about them, but the trick is you have to do it without them knowing the topic you can contact they're family or ask other elite but they aren't aloud to know the topic on what you're doing. Also you have to have something to show what it is or why what it is is somewhat important to people not just them, or you can do a project on your talent. For these assignments you can only have two people in a group or you can work alone if you choose to begin." She says leaving everyone blank. 

     We just got here and she's already giving us jobs. That's so unfair. Oh well I guess I'll chose. I don't really think I want to go on the report and talk about someone hidden talent. That seems hard I could do Celeste but I already know everything about her, and she doesn't really have anything interesting to do it on. I think I'm gonna team up with Celeste and do a talent on the report she good at singing so we could just sing. I think that'll work.Tonight I have a date with Maxon. He said he wants to have dinner with me on the balcony in his room I'm excited.

     I'm going to do America for finding a secret about her. I don't like America. I saw her and Maxon outside last night kissing, and he just said hello to me. Hello. That's it. I'm gonna try and be friends with her so she will tell me more about her or I'll find  something out about her with her family that's embarrassing she'll want to go home or she'll be eliminated. Man I'm a genius.
