Chapter 3 --

"What happened?!"

"It was nothing, Ryo-nee," Echizen Ryoma mumbled as he walked onto the court.

"Idiot!" Echizen Ryoka shouted in English shouted as he served, her fists clenched. I'm gonna kill him when we get home! She thought, standing beside Fuji. Better yet, I'm gonna poke his eyelid and see if it's still 'nothing'. I have got to stop sleeping during his matches! Or else he'd start getting injured! She thought angrily, referring to his cut eyelid.

She fidgeted with her fingers and Fuji Syusuke placed a hand on her shoulder. She tensed up and her cheeks started to feel warm.

"You're his sister aren't you? Just believe he'll win," Fuji said with a smile.

Ryoka relaxed and pouted at Fuji. "Fine."

I'm still gonna poke his eyelid though.

~

"Is it that guy?" Ryoka asked calmly, pointing to the long haired guy Ryoma was talking to. Fuji nodded as she stomped towards them, the feeling of anger returning.

She pointed at Ibu Shinji and glared at him. "Watch out! Next time that happens I won't let you off easy!" She exclaimed amgrily and Ryoma dragged her away, putting his hands around her waist as he pulled her.

"Stop it, Ryo-nee! Your embarrassing me!"

"Next time you wake up with an eyeball missing it won't be my fault!!"

~

"Oh! Chibi-chan's here?! Ryo-chan's here too!!"

"You're slow!!"

"Sushi! Man, I'm hungry!" Ryoka exclaimed as she sat down beside Fuji.

"Fuji, what are those?" Kikumaru Eiji asked, tricking Fuji so that he could take his sushi. Ryoka was also quick.

"Thank you!" Kikumaru exclaimed, throwing a piece in his mouth. "Hehehe, little cucumber!! Cucumber roll..."

However, his happiness was cut short when he started to choke on it.

"So hot... what is this? What have you been eating?!"

She took a piece of Fuji's sushi. "What's this?" She asked as she chewed it.

"Wasabi sushi," Fuji said with a smile.

Ryoka's eyes widened as she swallowed it. "Finally! Someone who also likes wasabi sushi!"

Kikumaru gulped down the water, looking at Ryoka and Fuji fearfully. They would make such a scary couple, he thought with a shudder.

"Ryoma's sleeping already," Ryoka said with a pout as she glanced at her brother. I'll just poke his eyelid at home, she thought with a sigh.

Her ears perked up as she heard Kawamura say something about a zombie shooting game. She jumped up and grabbed Kawamura and Fuji's shoulders, stopping them in their tracks.

"Can I play too?!" She exclaimed with a smile.

Kawamura smiled back, he scratched the back of his head and replied, "Sure."

She glanced at Ryoma's sleeping position before shrugging and following Kawamura and Fuji.

~

Ryoka cursed under her breath after saying goodbye to Kawamura. "It's already 7㏘," she muttered as she walked along side Fuji.

"It's already late, Ryoka," Fuji said, "I'll send you home."

Ryoka shook her head. "It's fine, you don't need to trouble yourself," she said, flustered. She didn't want Fuji to notice that she's been acting weird around him.

Fuji smiled at her. "It isn't a problem."

Knowing that Fuji would insist, she just nodded and continued walking, still keeping a distance. They walked in silence and neither of them did anything to break it.

Once they reached Ryoka's front gate, she turned to him and smiled. "Thanks for sending me home, Fuji," she said, looking down at the ground instead of him.

"It's nothing," she heard him say. "I'll see you in school tomorrow."

She looked up and waved at him. "Yeah. See ya."

She went inside before Fuji walked away, a blush appearing on her cheeks. Fuji sent me home... AHHHHHH! HOLY SHIT! She thought, dancing at her front door.

"Ryoka, what are you doing?"

She opened her eyes and saw her Dad there. "Nothing," she said with a cough.

"It's a boy~!" Her mother chirped from somewhere in the house.

Nanjiro's eyes widened as she ran up to her room, avoiding the questions her father was throwing at her.

"A BOY?! WHAT?! RYOKA!!! NO!!! MY BABY GIRL!!" He screamed in despair.

Ryoma walked past him and Nanjiro grabbed his ankle, looking up at him anxiously. Ryoma nodded. "It's a boy," he said, before walking away with a smirk.

Nanjiro lay at their doorstep whispering, "It's a boy. My baby girl is gone."

"DAD, IT'S NOTHING!!!"
