Chapter 5: the start of something

A jolt of electricity went through red's body before he pushed paps back.

"What the fuck paps? Why'd you do that!?"

"S-sorry... you just looked so cute..."

"Cute!? That's the shittiest excuse i've ever heard."

"Sans..."

Paps looked at red with a lazy smile and mumbled "sorry." then left. He went and took a shower then thinking, 'shit, shit, shit. Why the fuck did i do that!? We're obviously just friends. Ugh. i'm so fucking stupid!' and hit the bottom of his right palm against his skull. He heard a knock at the door.

"Yeah?"

"I just wanted to say... um... i think you're cute too... n-nevermind... you want some food?"

"Y-yeah, that'd be nice. Th-thanks!"

"Yeah..whatever." red's voice trailed off as he went downstairs to make breakfast or rather 'brunch'. Paps just blushed. 'D-did red just say he was cute too!?!? Oh no...' paps smiled and realised he was daydreaming. He quickly finished his shower and got dressed, then went downstairs for breakfast. The whole thing was in silence, aside from some show on TV of a play or something. When they finished, paps muted the T.V. and asked,

"so, didja mean it?"

"M-mean what?"

"What you said? About you thinking i was cute too?"

"Uh... y-yeah... why?"

"Just curious."

"Also..."

Paps put his arm around red and kissed him. On the mouth this time. Red let out a tiny gasp, but made no motion of pulling away. When the kiss finally ended, red was blushing and so was paps.

"That was a bit out of line wasn't it?"

"Actually... i kinda liked it..."

Red looked at the floor and stood up.

"Uhm... i'm gonna go check on something..." he embarrassedly walked out to the garage, freaking out in his head and spent the rest of the day collecting his thoughts.
