Antasma flew through the night, pondering his future. He was expected to become leader of his colony, and he would do it. But first, he had to prove that he would be a kind, fair leader. They say they want the colony to be kind, and the way to judge a colony is to judge its leader. Only thing is, it is only so long before the Pi'illos decide that we are a danger to the Dark Stone, and take 'protective measures' so that the Dark Stone is safe. The best way to ensure our survival is to dominate the other nearby colonies, and steal the Dark Stone. Then I make sure the Pi'illo's understand that Somnom Woods belongs to me. But they were powerless, and his plan needed power to work. Well, he would speak to his parents, who were the king and queen of the colony, and make them see sense.
Dropping down on a tree, he noticed the strangeness of the surroundings. He had never been this far away from the roost before. It was forbidden. But, in all of his scheming, he didn't notice the ring of trees that marked the boundary of where he was allowed to fly. He would get scolded, but he didn't care at the moment. He was told by one of his friends that he knew where the Dark Stone was. He told Antasma directions, but later that night he was exiled from Somnom Woods for revealing the location of the Dark Stone to someone who was considered unworthy. So here he was, breaking the most sacred rule of his colony, on a risky quest that could get him exiled, or worse. He didn't care. He took off, and started flying towards the Dark Stone.
----(Later)----
He was almost there. He thought he could hear the Dark Stone, and it sounded like something dark and sinister. He could also feel its presence nearby, which was unusual, because he had never sensed anything like this before. He decided that it was calling to him, asking him to steal it. But something didn't feel right. He could feel something else as well. The Dream Stone, of course!! The Pi'illo's were here to celebrate the stones, and would fall asleep so that they could meet with the Dream Spirit and Dark Spirit. But still he sensed something was wrong. He stopped suddenly, dropping down on a tree branch. There was a clearing ahead, and if any Pi'illo's were around they would use the Dream Stone to send him away. But, after listening for a while, he realized that no Pi'illo's were talking. Suddenly, he saw a hill in the clearing. That must be where the Pi'illo's are. It is a Dreampoint after all. Confident that all of the Pi'illo's were in the dream world, he flew up. Halfway up the hill, he suddenly couldn't feel the Dark Stone anymore. He couldn't feel the Dream Stone either. But, he thought, they were using the Dream Stone to conceal the two stones. So he continued to fly up the hill. And was surprised to find no massive group of Pi'illo's, no Dream Stone, and no Dark Stone. The only thing that was there was a Zee Egg, and a Pi'illo. A Pi'illo.
