Korra continued to sleep soundly, feeling a cooling sensation on her face. She couldn't help but to shudder at the sheer cold of what she knew for a fact was water. The cooling sensation then traveled down both Korra's upper arms. Sending waves of relief rushing through her body. It was then that the cooling sensation ceased, and Korra could hear a pair of footsteps leaving her side. And ultimately closing the door, and leaving the room. With all her might Korra opened her cyan hued eyes, focusing them on the ceiling above. She blinked a few times before allowing herself to find her center of gravity, before slowly rising from the comfort of the futon. It had been ages since Korra had slept in a comfortable bed,it was soothing. But not as soothing as the cool sensation of the water on her face. Korra didn't recall winning the bending match,so how was she in this room? Who had saved her?
Slowly Korra regained her footing, and carefully walked over to a nearby door where she could hear the constant flow of water leaving shower head. Quietly Korra peeked into the room, seeing nothing but a thick layer of steam due to the intense temperature of the water. Whoever had saved her, seemed to love really really hot showers. That much was certain. Using her water bending Korra parted the hot steam, before taking a glimpse of a curvy silhouette in the depths of the shower. She watched the figure odiously belonging to a female, run her fingers through her long hair. Trying her best to get the naps out of her locks. Suddenly the figure turned towards Korra, and immediately slide the screen door to the side. Revealing her damp form from within the shower. Korra's gaze lingered on the woman's lovely brown skin similar to her own. Droplets of water cascaded down her sides adding to the woman's sex appeal. She reached over grabbing a towel and wrapping it around her wet form, but it did little to hide her plump breasts which the woman did her best to hide.
The woman carefully stepped out of the shower, the captivating woman's beautiful cerulean eyes seemed to breathe life into Korra. Life that Korra had been missing for quite sometime. Who was this woman? And why did Korra feel as if she knew her. The woman smiled happily towards Korra, which in return Korra herself couldn't help but to smile. " I'm so glad your okay,Korra. I was so worried." The woman stated as she dried her body while slipping on her water tribe attire. "Um I'm okay thanks but,why would you care?"Korra asked bluntly causing the breathtaking woman before her to release a light giggle at her words. " You actually forgot me,didn't you?" The woman questioned before taking a few steps towards Korra. She immediately tensed up in front of the woman, which seemed to hurt the woman. Korra sighed before allowing the woman to take her cold hands into her warm ones. She then peered towards Korra with a smile filled to the brim with genuine joy."It's me,Aisuya." The woman introduced. The moment Korra heard that name leave the woman's lis,she instinctively brought the woman into a gentle hug.
This was Aisuya, her dear friend from home. My how she had changed. Korra could recall the shy and weak girl she had befriended so long ago. In those days Korra had yet to be taken by the White Lotus, and continued to live at home. All the while learning waterbending from Katara. Korra remembered coming across the quiet little girl who cried a lot. The little girl who no one wanted to play with. The little girl who had been a abandoned by her family. The image was still fresh in Korra's mind, the sight of little Aisuya's tear stained face as the other children picked on her. Preying on her insecurities. Even then Korra couldn't stand seeing someone victimized, and she stood up for Aisuya. Scaring the mean children away. It was then that Korra befriended the sobbing Aisuya. Declaring she would become strong in order to protect her. Unknowingly those words had bounded the two girls together even now.
Korra sobbed into Aisuya's neck, while Aisuya gently rubbed her back. All the while smiling warmly at her dear friend. "Now look who's the crybaby now."Aisuya teased lightly causing Korra to increase her grip while muttering a low 'shut up'. Korra didn't know why,but she didn't want to let go of Aisuya. She wanted her to remain in her arms,in her sight forever. It was like a light of hope had appeared when Korra layed eyes on Aisuya. Could this be what Korra needed? A blast from the past? Someone to push her in the right direction to recover her powers? Or was it something else?
