"So? what's up with you and that new girl?" asked Sasha, oozing with curiosity on the subject.

"Nothing, whatsoever!" exclaimed Felix, wanting minimal mention of the subject. It was 3:15 in the afternoon. Felix and Sasha were waiting by the front gate of the school for Felix's mom to come by with his luggage. Felix's family had moved far away recently, forcing him to stay in the school dorms. He planned to bring his luggage in the morning but he woke up late and rushed out the door without it. Luckily today was his mother's day off and she offered to take his luggage.

Felix didn't like to bother his parents like this. Their already busy enough with work. But his mother kept insisting to come by, how was he supposed to say no?

"Nothing you say? I can't help but to think otherwise," continued Sasha.

"She crashed into me in the hall and demanded I apologize, can you believe it!?"

At the end of his sentence Layla and Krystal were seen exiting the school grounds on their way to the shopping mall. They walked in front of Felix and Sasha; Layla glanced at them and turned her head in disgust.

"I'm still waiting for that apology you know!" She stated with an arrogant tone.

"You were the one who ran into me! Why should I?!" Felix started getting irritated by this girl.

"Because! You've made an improper woman of me you jerk!"

Felix, Sasha, and even Krystal stood frozen in shock for a few seconds.

"Well Felix I didn't know you had it in ya! So how'd it happen? How far did you get?" joked Sasha with a devilish grin.

"Shut up you pervert!" yelled Felix and Layla simultaneously, already agitated with what was said.

After all of them took a few breathers from the shock, Felix spoke, "I'm sorry."

Layla looked at him confused, "what?"

"Can't you hear!? I apologize!... I should've been paying attention to where I was going. Forgive me."

Layla wasn't sure how to react. She didn't expect Felix to apologize like this. She would usually receive an insincere apology or nothing but hate. Is it a joke? She thought, but his eyes and words demonstrated true sincerity, it seemed nothing but fiction to believe it was a joke.

Layla did not want to be made a fool. With hesitation in her voice, she said, "A-As if, you don't expect me to be satisfied with a simple 'I'm sorry' do you? It's gonna take more than that to get on my good side. Now if you'll excuse us, we have places to be."

She pulled Krystal by the hand and stormed off.

     "What's her problem?" asked Sasha.

"I don't know anymore, and frankly I'm starting to not give a damn."

A blue ferrari pulled up in front of Sasha and Felix, and out of it jumped a woman who looked extremely close to Felix and Sasha's age. She wore a green flowered cardigan over a green and white stripe shirt, her hair was long, light brown, and part of it was done up in a bun/ponytail. She had khaki pants and sneakers on.

She spoke with a sweet voice saying, "Oh Felix! My baby! Look at you all handsome in your high school uniform. How was your first day of school?" As she walked over and embraced Felix.

"It was quite interesting," answered Felix with a nervous laughter. His mother didn't pay much attention to it though.

"Hello there Mrs. Ingrid!" butted in Sasha.
