It was four in the afternoon. After such an eventful day Layla decided to go with her best friend Krystal and get some ice cream. After what had happened with Felix, she wanted to boost up her spirit somehow, and since the school was right next to the towns shopping mall, the girls decided it would be a good time to go and refresh themselves with some ice cream.

After making the trip, they returned to school and enjoyed their ice cream on a bench in the courtyard. After all, the school's courtyard did look rather lovely and peaceful. The two girls were sitting down while they ate their cones. Well at least Krystal was, Layla just sat there staring at her cone with a frowning face.

Krystal couldn't stand the silence "Okay what gives? You won't even eat you're ice cream! Was it really that bad?"

"Yes! Don't you understand? My hand was on his crotch!... On his crotch!"

"Yea I get it it's gross, you think I wouldn't understand that more than anyone here? I still think you're overreacting a bit? It's not like he was nude."

In the moment Krystal uttered those words Layla formed a mental picture in her mind. She immediately got flustered and turned beat red.

"Hey! Woe! Layla! Chill! You don't have to get like that! It was just a joke."

after some time Layla began to relax, "Sorry Krystal, It's just... I've never touched a man around that area. And to think that the first guy I touched down there was this idiot! It just really... Irks Me!" She said crushing her cone causing all the contents to pour out of her hand and on to her skirt.

"Gahhh! Layla look what you've done!"

Barely realizing Layla looked down and saw that her skirt was showered in melted ice cream. "Crap! Ugh, this is not my day, guess I'll have to head over to my dorm and change for dinner time. I'm sorry this happened."

Krystal sighed with a smile, "don't sweat it, let's make sure to hang out tomorrow."

"Sure thing!" Said Layla as she began to get up. She threw away the cone and headed towards the dorm rooms which were right behind the school.

"Oh and Layla! Take it easy will ya! You've just started high school, things'll calm down!" Shouted Krystal, still sitting on the bench.

"Yea! Will do!" Replied Layla running to her dorm. Layla was glad to have had at least some sort of peaceful time with her best friend.

The whole day was chaos between her and Felix. At Evergreen high school, the students were in charge of most of the classrooms maintenance and organization, and in order for the work to be done more equally and efficiently, students would be placed in pairs and these student pairs would alternate to do the classroom management for the day. And as if life were trying to punch Layla in the gut, she was paired up with Felix today. It seemed like every hour both of them were asked to take care of some classroom chore, and every time they would start a chore they would somehow get into a small debate which soon grew into an outburst of insults between one another. It would get to a point in which the teachers had to butt in so that their students would stay focused.

Layla couldn't stand the thought of being in the same class as him this entire school year. She applied to Evergreen in hopes that she wouldn't have to deal with a situation like this one. All through middle school she would deal with the constant back talk from her classmates. It didn't hurt her at all, it was people's stupidity and nosiness that bothered her the most. Wanting to escape those kinds of people, she applied to Evergreen, the private school in which she was the most convinced she wouldn't run into any classmates from middle school.

Not everything about middle school was terrible though. She at least had Krystal to depend on, and she was glad Krystal decided to come to this school too. Her biggest worry about going to Evergreen was having to say goodbye to Krystal; when she found out Krystal was also accepted, she felt happy and relieved. Layla loved Krystal, not in a romantic or sexual manner, but as a friend. She was someone Layla felt comfortable with and enjoyed hanging out with her. She did wonder at times whether she felt attracted to her or not, but each time she did she would quickly answer herself with a no. She just couldn't see Krystal that way, it wouldn't feel right.

After walking for a while, Layla finally reached the dormitory. It had an appearance just like that of the schools. The outside was of a beautiful design of maroon bricks and thin white columns, giving it a fanciful appearance. But once you walk inside the elegance is replaced with common white plastered walls, fluorescent lights, and old wooden floors and doors. Layla made her way up to the second floor and to her room in the far back of the building.

She was standing right outside the room when she heard the shower water running inside the room. Guess my roommate must've finally arrived, thought Layla. She opened the door and stated, "I'm coming in!" There was no need for her to say it. The bathroom was a separate room after all, but she thought it'd be rude if she didn't.

The room consisted of bunk beds on the left side of the room and a desk on the right. Across from her, a small window and a bookshelf. Right next to the entrance, the closet, and next to the desk was the door leading to the bathroom.

Layla walked in shutting the door behind her and headed straight for her luggage. She took out any average shirt and pants and began to undress down to her underwear. She grabbed the pair of pants and proceeded to put them on, but soon halted as she heard the bathroom door open. Out of it walked a guy with only a towel covering his lower body and his face covered by the mist of the boiling hot bathroom water. Layla stared tantalized. She couldn't look away from the guys body. His calves were greatly defined showing strong power, his abdominal muscles were sculpted like marble, and his arms portrayed the strength that equaled that of a construction worker's. Layla stared without noticing until the fog cleared up. She stood there staring until he walked out of the mist revealing his face. Both stood in front of each other with mouths left ajar and nervous expressions, for Layla was face to face with Felix.
