[Name] pushed the doors open in time to escape the restaurant, but the moment the cool breeze brushed against her cheeks, she frozen in awe, and gasped.

"Did I just...?" She sneered, the twisted look of confusion expressed so wildly that she couldn't stop shaking her head at what just happened. The palm smacking her forehead felt right even.

"Why do I even care?! He can do what he wants and so can she!" She continued to lecture herself, ignoring the weird looks nearby people shot at her. "Ugh! That was SO high school of me...!"

She cursed under her breath, embarrassed for running out like that; it was so unnecessary. "I'm getting married," is what she kept reminding herself to calm her rant, groaning shamefully at the memory of the way she reacted.

Now she worried that that childish gesture could be so wrongly interpreted that [Name] felt the need to "redeem" herself. She felt the need to walk back into that establishment and do what she was purposed to do after a day of hard work-plus overtime: devour some dinner.

With a nod, she aimed to go back inside – but ended up stiffening in place once again. What's the point? She sighed at her own argument, clearly remembering that Mei caught her – and even showed her an odd smile. It was full of statement, as if she said 'what do you think of this?', that [Name] could imagine the definite awkwardness of explaining her behavior around Itachi. Not only that but she could recall her outraged emotions, as if she was about to confront the two.

It's as if she...Itachi...

As if I lost him, [Name] realized the root of her feelings. She did lose him, however. She let him go years ago due to her selfishness. And now he has the right to do as he pleases. Obviously.

She couldn't stop pinching the bridge of her nose, annoyed with her catch-22 situation. She stepped away from the front doors to let customers in and even opened the door for them.

"What's the point?" she voiced out her thoughts this time. Her cravings were forgotten and she could only stare at the sidewalk as she decided to walk home after all.

Pizza rolls are just as delicious anyway...

As the days passed and wedding arrangements progressed, [Name] saw the changes around her.

Shisui was more and more unavailable, due to his hectic work schedule, while the bridesmaids, on the contrary, were more responsive and available when needed. She wasn't updated with the groomsmen as much but trusted that Itachi, being his efficient self, was taking care of it. And she only thought such way because Itachi seemed to be always gone from his apartment on his days off, unless...his time also revolved around Mei.

Nope, not my business! She shook away those wandering thoughts and instead focused on the sheet of paper in front of her. While she sat by the window, anxiously waiting for a package in the mail, [Name] was having a difficult time picking between two flower arrangements that would be used as centerpieces.

Lilies and tulips OR roses and violets?

Her debating mind was interrupted when she spotted the mailman delivering mail, cuing an excited [Name] running outside to gather them all. With her awaited package in one arm, she flipped through her letters until one specific envelope made her quirk a brow.

"Great." She smiled apologetically.

Dropping her mail on the table, she stepped out of her apartment, walked two doors down and knocked on the wood. The moment the door opened wide enough, [Name] pushed the envelope onto Itachi's chest.
