Chapter 4

Knight walked into Elle's room knowing he had to explain things to her and hoping she'll understand. Elle looks up at him as he sits next to her and takes her hand. "I'm sorry I walked out. Growing up with constant negativity and the worst happening to me and those around me, I've become trained to think every human I meet will end up hurting me. I don't know how to explain the way I feel and I was getting upset you didn't accept you are my mate right away. When a New Species male is surrounded by the scent of his mate, that is all he thinks about. Mating her and marking her as his. If you were to become my mate I would care for you and protect you because it's something I need to do. I've never had anything of my own before, and claiming you would be the best thing to ever happen to me. Already your scent and smile has me addicted to you, and I can't stand to lose you. Elle looks at him shocked. I guess he is feeling the connection to me that I felt for him. He's so sweet and incredibly hot, but could she give up her whole life to move here and stay with him. What if he decides later on that he doesn't want to be with her after living with her, could she take that rejection..

She looks over Knight. His strong cheekbones, those ice blue feline eyes and muscular body certainly make him the most beautiful man she has ever met. His black long hair makes those eyes pop even more. He seems sincere that he could never live without her, but she has heard that phrase many times before, just for the guy to up and leave later on. But why not give it a shot, he's different from regular men and seems to be already pretty dedicated to their relationship.

"Okay I'll stay with you and give us a chance. I've never had these strong of feelings for anyone, and I think that's because you are the one made for me." Elle replied.

Knight looked at her with joy. "I thought I would have to convince you more as to why we are mates. But I'm not giving you a chance to second guess." He picks up Elle and says, "I'm taking you to our home. I'll show you how great I will be to you as your mate."

Midnight glances up from the station and says, "I know there is no way to stop you Knight, but take the cream and bandages so you can apply it morning and night to her burns. No shared sex until she is completely healed!"

Elle blushes at the thought of everyone in Medical hearing what Midnight just said. She glances around at the New Species surrounding them, but they are all smiling clearly happy for the two.

Knight places her in a jeep waiting outside Medical. He can't wait to bring her home with him, but he should get on finding a home for the two of them. Elle should not have to live in the male's dorm, she should have her own house to share with him so she can see how he will treat her as a mate.

Knight pulls up to the male's dorm and says, "I'll be sure to request couples housing for us tomorrow. Right now I can't wait to taste you. I've been holding back since the moment I laid eyes on you and cannot anymore."

Knight leans towards Elle, grabs the sides of her face and stares into her eyes. "You are the most special and perfect female. I'm so lucky to have you as my mate, and I will do anything I can to make you stay with me the rest of your life."

Elle gushes at Knight's words and goes in to kiss him. "You already have me Knight."
