"Frank wake the fuck up!!" I kept shaking him. Blood oozed smoothly out all over the floor and my hands. His lips were blue and his body he was so cold.. so fucking cold. I hugged him tight and kissed him. "You done this to him.." Bert's voice echoed in my head.

"Come back.. please.." I cried out. I called an ambulance and I could hear the sirens a few minutes later. Of course there was no saving him. His wings faded out of existence and now there was only wounds and blood. We were rushed to the hospital in vain. Nothing could help him. I came home alone and blood was still everywhere. I turned to the dresser and grabbed the gun in the sock drawer we kept for emergencies. "Goodnight.." I spoke solemnly to myself as I checked the magazine in the 9milimeter to find it full. I placed it to my temple.

As I squeezed my eyes shut ready to pull the trigger a cool hand wrapped around the guns barrel and pulled it away from me. "Gee.." a familiar voice rang in my ears. I opened my eyes to see nothing. "Bullshit.." I whispered to myself. I shut my eyes again. "Gee!" The voice filling the silence once again. "Wake up!"

Small beeps and the smell of alcohol and a musky cologne was burning my nose. I groaned and rubbed my eyes. The bright light from the window burned them. "Gee.. you're awake?!" Frank chimed happily squeezing my hand. "Frankie?" I croaked. My heart pounded in my chest and the beeps from the heart monitor sped up. "I have the worst headache." I groaned.

"It's okay." Frank gently pet my hair out of my face. "We're okay now." He kissed my forehead. Did I dream it all? What happened? "Frankie.. what happened..??" I asked. "You tried to leave but we brought you back." He choked back tears. "It was a dream.." I groaned. "Just a fever dream of pure hell and drugs from the hospital.." Frank grinned through his tears.

"Welcome home soldier." I heard Mikey chime from the door way. Ray followed in behind him. It was all a dream.. I never woke up and I never really.. before I could finish my sentence a familiar man walked in. "He's awake?" Bert asked. He grinned at me. He shook everyones hand introducing himself as Dr. Kracken or McKraken? I'm not sure. "Remember me my man?" He asked me placing a hand on my shoulder. "Vaguely." I spat. "Well, I'm just the guy who gave you.. a second chance." He winked.
