~MARGARET's POV~
As we walked along the hallways, I didn't even realized that my grip to John's arms is too tight until he asked me
"Are you alright Margaret? You seemed too nervous?"
I just gave him a faint smile and just nod at him and he smiled back
I couldn't really tell how I really feel, I saw a lot of familiar faces
faces that I saw from way way back, the investors, businessmen, their relatives, close friends, but I couldn't see his family
I didn't even notice that my head was looking around and searching for some more familiar faces until John said to me
"Hey!, do you know some people in here? It seems that you're looking for someone?"
I just smiled again at him and told him "Uhm! Nope! Just looking around maybe there are famous artist in here and I want to take a picture with them" then I just laughed and he laughed with me
As we are heading to a table that was near the side of a stage were there are guitars, bass guitars, drums, piano, and microphone. I wanted to cry when I saw it, 'coz I knew that they are here and I really miss those people, but still I don't want to ruined my make-up so I just smiled as to what I saw, and well, how I really miss singing especially with them
As we are approaching near the table my heart beats really fast as Mr. Myers came to us
"Oh there he is, hi son! Glad you came here tonight, and who is this fine young lady with you?"
John gave his dad a hug and replied, "Hi dad! Yah I'm here it's because of you know who, and well, meet my date for tonight, Ms. Margaret Summers, Margaret meet my dad the famous George Myers"
I smiled at the Senior Myers and gave him a hand shake, luckily my hands were not really sweaty due to the nervousness that I had, but when he looks at me as if studying me from head to toe I can really feel that my heart was pumping faster, until he said something
"Hhhmmm! Summers? I think I've heard that before, but I couldn't remember, and you really looked familiar also"
OH MY GOSH!!!! my head wants to burst out and my heart wants to left out on my chest as I heard him say that, I was supposed to tell him something but John interrupted us
"Where's you know who dad?"
Phew! save by the bell
His dad looked at him as if telling him to not say that when there are other people in front of us until someone snap us into our own reverie
"Johnny! You really came here boy! Give Mommy a hug!"
"Mom!" John said with a little bit of annoyance in his voice to this fine and elegant woman in front of us, but still he hugs her, I giggled a bit and smiled at them
"George! Why you didn't tell me that John was here and.... Oh My! You got a date?!!!!!"
John wanted to run away when her mother said that in a high squeaky voice luckily no one can hear it due to the loud music also, wew!
"Yes Mother!" as he said in a sarcastic manner "this is Margaret Summers, and Margaret this my Mom, Elizabeth Myers"
I gave her a smile and lend my hand towards her but she just hugs me, aaawwww! John's mom is really sweet by the way, and actually she doesn't look old to me, and I think she's still in her 40's or something, she's really beautiful you know
"Thanks for being the date of my son Margaret, and are you engaged now?"
My eyes widened in shock and I can really feel that my jaw left hanging in the air that a fly can enter into it
