CHAPTER 8 WAIT! WHO's HERE?!

~Margaret's POV~

By the time we arrive on Brisbane Airport, I felt relieve all of a sudden, and I thank the stars that John didn't even asked me anything when we met Jayden, Clarisse, Adam and the rest of the bussiness gurus in the wedding. The whole flight was really silent and that would be alright for me rather than answering a lot of questions, and I don't want to go back on memory lane anymore.

Going back to Sydney was really exciting but it doesn't feel the same anymore, it's as if I felt I left something in there but I couldn't get it back.

"Earth to Margaret! calling Margaret!" and Nicole poked me wih the use of the remote control, we were at the living room watching the bachelor, we couldn't help it, we just love the cat fights and the dramas on that show.

I shrugged a little bit and looked at her wih a questioning look on my face "What? Did you say something Nicole?" Okay! So I'm not really focused on everything right now.

"I knew it! You're thinking again what happened at the wedding!" then she pinched me at the arm.

As I arrived at the house from the trip to Sydney I told everything to Nicole and one thing she said to me was that "Margaret maybe that was a sign when you went back to Sydney and saw them again, you saw that they are okay now and happy, so it just means that you should move on now". I just hug her at that time and I keep on crying until I dozed off.

"Ouch! that hurts!" and I look at my arm and saw it became pink then gave her a pout

She just rolled her eyes and said "whatever major thinker, can you please focus on me this time, Im in serious trouble you know!"

If you we're all thinking what's the major problem of my bestfriend, well its just the zit on her face that is huge like a peanut. hahaha! Okay Im just exaggerating, its just a little bit but for her its already a size of a wallnut.

I rolled my eyes exactly the way she rolled her eyes on me "really Nickz? really? its just a zit okay, you can just use some of my creams there in my room"

"Yes! finally! I was asking you that for like the Nth time if I can borrow your cream and you didn't answer me because you were in LaLaLand, jeez!" then she stood up from the chair and dash towards my room

I wanted to laugh at what she did but I just smiled and sigh, she was right I was really at LaLaLand. After the wedding I keep on reminiscing the scene, the smiles on their faces, laughing and drinking, like its still the same for them but not for me at all. Seeing them again makes me happy and glad but sad at the same time because I can't even had a normal conversation with them due to the fact that I don't want any q and a portion by John. Life can be so cruel sometimes. As I was about to dozed off on the chair my phone rang

"Yes! Hello! Margaret speaking"

"Margaret its Sue"

"Hi Sue! how can I help you?"

"Kylie is sick today and we couldn't get anyone except you, can you fill in for her today? I know your still tired from the travel but we need someone today were really short staff"

I smiled the whole time when she was talking at me, I knew my nursing manager, she really stresses out a lot especially when it comes to short staffing

"Alright Ms.Sue I will be there"

"Thank you! thank you very much Margaret! see you later" then she turned off the phone.

I ran straight towards my room and took a shower and dressed with my all white uniform immediately. While doing my make-up Nicole was just glancing at me the whole time and I totally forgot she was in my room.
