Prompt: You wake up and find Chris singing your daughter back to sleep.

A/N: this is in 3rd person and I cried because it's really cute
Dodger was the first to wake up when Georgia walked into Y/N's and Chris' room. He looked over at the little girl carrying a small, stuffed orange kitten.

"Daddy?" Georgia squeaked which caused Chris to wake up instantly.

"Yes baby?" he whispered as to not wake Y/N up.

"I had a dream that you left momma and me and never came back," she whimpered.

"Oh the bad dream monster is back at it again? C'mon Dodge, some monster is scaring one of our best girls," Chris called his dog to come with him and his daughter. All the loss of weight caused Y/N but she stayed in bed for a little while longer.
When they walked into Georgie's room, Chris laid down on his stomach and stuck his face under her bed.

"Alright listen here you bad dream monster," Chris scolded the floor. "You leave my daughter alone or you'll have me, Captain America to deal with," he paused, "and don't use that kind of language here!" Chris stood and saw his daughter clutching her cat and holding onto Dodger's scruff. "That bad dream monster won't be bothering my baby girl anymore." Chris scooped Georgia and tucked her in.

"Daddy, please don't leave yet," Georgia begged gripping his arm. "What if the monster comes back?"

"I'll stay right here until you're asleep baby girl," he promised unaware of Y/N making her way down the hall upon hearing Chris scolding a "monster". She couldn't help but smile as she heard Chris starting to sing.

"You and me together will be
Forever you'll see
We two can be good company
You and me
Yes together we two..."
Y/N leaned against the doorframe watching her husband with a loving expression.

"We'll always be in good company
You and me
Just wait and see.
Goodnight Georgie," Chris kissed his daughter's forehead and laid her head on her pillow. Chris couldn't help but smile when he turned and saw his wife.

"Sorry for disturbing you and your good company," Y/N smiled as he wrapped an arm around her waist.

"Hey," he pecked her lips, "you're always good company," Chris beamed.

"You're a great dad," she complimented.

"I have a great woman to be a mother," he scooped Y/N up and carried her back to bed. Chris placed her gently on the bed and hovered over her. "I love you so much Y/N," he kissed her.

"I love you too good company," she smirked, he shook his head with a laugh and laid down beside her pull her back to his chest.
