The twins crept into an empty building. It was dim and dusty, with a ceiling so high they couldn't see the top. In the center was a stone chair, with a figure cloaked in black sitting. Wanda and Pietro were right next to each other, keeping their distance.

"Talk," Wanda commanded, "and if you are wasting our time..."

"Did you know this church is in the exact center of the city?" The figure spoke, mostly ignoring her

"Did you know this church is in the exact center of the city?" The figure spoke, mostly ignoring her.
"The elders decreed it so that everyone could be equally close to God. I like that. The geometry of belief."

The twins looked sceptical of the man. They weren't churchgoers, and they couldn't see the man's face.

"You're wondering why you can't look inside my head." He said suddenly. Indeed, Wanda's head was tilted and her eyes were red.

"Sometimes it's hard." She told him. "But sooner or later, every man shows himself."

The man stood, revealing his face. Or rather, his metal mask. Wanda looked shocked, and Pietro stepped in front of her, as if to create a barrier between her and the metal man. The metal man in question did look fairly intimidating. Alternating metallic plates created a towering body, leading to a face with burning eyes and a gaping red smile.

If Frankenstein's monster was made of metal, he would look like this. Pietro thought.

"I'm sure they do. But you needed something more than a man. That's why you let Stark take the scepter." Ultron stated.

"I didn't expect this. But I saw Stark's fear. I knew it would control him. Make him self-destruct." Wanda stated.

"Everyone creates the thing they dread." Ultron claimed. "People create mutants. Men of peace create engines of war. Invaders create Avengers. Avengers create... smaller Avengers? No, New Avengers. I lost the term there. Children... designed to supplant them, to help them... end."

"Is that why you've come, to end the Avengers?" Wanda asked.

"I've come to save the world. But also... yes. We'll move out right away. This is a start, but there's something we need to begin the real work." He answered, then started referring to his robots, flying around the factory he had made for himself.
