A Couple of Days Later
Makenzie
"Mommy can I have some juice?" My youngest daughter, Promise, asked me.
I smiled at her, "Of course you can sweetheart." I gave picked up a Capri Sun and gave it to her.
She gave me a huge snaggletooth smile, "Thank you." She told me before running out to the backyard.
I shook my head and went back to fixing the sides for this family barbeque we're having today. I was getting things done until I felt a hard smack on my ass. "Shit!" I yelled, turning around seeing Tyler with a smirk on his face.
"Wassup baby?" He asked, kissing me on my neck.
I smirked at him, "Apparently your dick and as much as I would love to help you out with, we have company coming over any minute and all of the kids are here.
"C'mon Chunkie Money please?" He asked, rubbing his hard piece against me.
"Nope, you need to go finish cooking the meat." I smirked, turning around going back to doing what I was doing. "That's how Promise got here unexpectedly six years ago."
He wrapped his arms around my waist, "Alright you win this time, but tonight that ass is mine." He kissed my cheek and walked away.
I playfully rolled my eyes and continued to cook the rest of the sides. About fifteen minutes later, the doorbell rang. I cleaned my hands and answered the door.
"Wassup best friend!" Teddy greeted, pulling me into a hug.
I laughed, "Hey Teddy." I pulled away and saw my twelve-year-old nice, Harper, standing there holding her little brother Teddy Jr.
"Hey Aunt Kenzie." Harper spoke with a smile on her face.
I smiled at her, "Hey Haper." I took TJ out of her hands, "Hey Auntie's Teddy Bear." He smiled at me and laid his head on my shoulder.
"Well damn, I guess I don't exist anymore." Destiny spoke up.
I smirked at her, "Well now you see how I felt when I had the twins. I still love you though." I blew her a kiss and walked back in the house only to hear someone yell my name very loud.
"MAKENZIE!" Anaya yelled, walking up to the house.
Langston and Isaiah looked at Anaya like she was crazy
"Baby why must you be so ghetto?" Isaiah asked.
"I agree with dad; why must you be so ghetto?" Langston chimed in.
Naya smacked her lips, "Because I feel like it. You don't see Evie and Ava complaining about it." She ranted pointing at her twin daughters.
I shook my head and laughed, "It's nice to see you too Anaya." I hugged her and her family. "Y'all can just go to the backyard, the food should be done in about fifteen minutes."
Teddy smacked his lips, "Damn that long."
"Hey, don't look at me like that, blame Tyler." I snitched, putting TJ so he could go in the backyard.
Mila
I smelled the barbeque and smiled because that meant that we were having a family barbeque. I loved family barbeques because my family does the absolute most. I hurried up and put on a crop tops, some shorts, and some sandals, then I put my hair in two French braids. As soon as I finished getting dressed, Promise came in my room.
