Langston

I can't believe Trevor actually decided to give me a chance to help figure out who the snake is. It may not seem like nothing to most people, but to me this is a really big deal. Mila still treats me like I'm still a little kid and this is the perfect opportunity to prove to her that I can handle myself.

"Thanks fam, you won't regret this," I told Trevor.

"I'm sure I won't," he responded.

"We'll see," Mila mumbled under her breath.

I cleared my throat, "So what do I need to do?"

"I just need you to snoop around and see who's been going around and telling the enemy what we've been doing. Even though you're around us a lot doesn't mean that you have any ties with us. Just act like you're being a traitor and go around asking different workers about random things," Trevor explained.

I nodded my head, "Okay, I'll go right now." I said eagerly as I went to open the door.

I heard a gun go off and instantly froze. I slowly turned around and saw Mila holding the gun.

"Rule number one," she stated. "Never be too eager to do dirty work especially when you literally came in here with us. What would it look like with you going out there and asking people random stuff?"

Trevor nodded his head in agreement, "She right. You would be killed instantly. Now if you want to hang with the big dogs you can't be going around doing dumb shit. You can't go around bragging either. Even though you're really not doing anything, it's still dangerous. Are you really sure that you want to do this?"

I nodded my head, "Yeah I'm sure."

Mila

I can't believe that Trevor actually let Langston get into this mess and to make things worse, the little nigga almost got himself killed within the first five minutes. That would have been a great story to tell Aunt Naya and Uncle Zay. Sorry we got your one and only son killed, but at least he died taking one for the team and at least you still have Evie and Ava. Yeah right. We would be buried right next to Langston. I swear sometimes I act like the older twin because Trevor doesn't think sometimes.

We just dropped Langston off and Trevor was smiling like he had just gotten some good pussy. I still didn't see what he was so happy about. I wanted to pistol-whip the grin off his face, but that would end in us fighting, again. "What are you so happy about?" I asked with a mean mug on my face.

He looked over at me, "Why wouldn't I be happy?" he asked.

"Gee I don't know, maybe because you basically just lead our little cousin into an easy death." I sarcastically retorted.

He smacked his lips, "You need to chill out Mi and just trust me on this. I'm not gon' let nothing bad happen to the lil nigga. Hell, he won't be doing half of the shit that we do. He just wants to help us."

I rolled my eyes, "You're still getting him involved. Shit, you might as well bring Hunter into the mix since he won't be involved either." I snarled.

"See you not listening to what I'm saying," he stated. "He won't be in any real danger."

I just stopped talking. I could talk till I'm blue in the face and he would still think what he said is golden. When Langston gets hurt, I don't want him saying shit. I tried warning both of them, but it's whatever. They'll see what I'm saying eventually, hopefully before it's too late.

We pulled into our driveway and I practically jumped out the car before Trevor killed the engine. I unlocked the front door and crept inside since it was way past our curfew. As soon as I stepped foot into the dark house, the lights turned on.

"Where in the hell have y'all been?!" Momma yelled.

"We were studying at a friend's house," I lied.

She stared at me like she didn't believe, "What friend?"

Trevor came in and closed and locked the door behind him. "Ma, sorry we're late. We were studying at a friend's house and we lost track of time. We're sorry, it'll never happen again.

Momma continued to stare at us, "Mmhmm alright. You better call me next time, I'm not playing with y'all." She started up the stairs, "Hurry up and go to bed. I don't wat to have to drag y'all by y'alls ears tomorrow morning."

I sighed in relief. We dodged a major bullet.

Makenzie

I don't believe a word that came out of their mouths. I can tell when they're lying to me, I just didn't have enough energy to beat their asses tonight. I walked into Tyler and I's bedroom and closed the door.

"So what happened? I didn't hear any screams and pleas to stop." Tyler said sitting up.

I smacked my lips, "Those little niggas had the nerve to lie to my face about where they've been. I just didn't have enough energy to beat their asses."

He smirked, "Sorry I wore you out baby. You're just so damn beautiful I can't help myself sometimes." He said, getting up and walking towards me.

I playfully rolled my eyes and slapped his chest, "I'm serious Ty. Your kids are really testing me."

"How do you even know that they're lying."

"A mother's intuition. I have a feeling that something isn't right and when I find out, we might not have any more twins."

He kissed my forehead, "And how exactly are you going to find out?"

I smirked, "Trust and believe me. Momma has her ways."

Do you guys think Makenzie is going to find out what the twins are doing? What does she have up her sleeve? Is Mila right or is she overreacting? Does Langston have what it takes to hang with Trevor and Mila? Don't forget to vote, comment, and follow. Mila is in the MM.
