Since it's been a while since I updated this book you might want to go back and reread a couple of chapters so you won't be lost.

Trevor

"Babe, how are you?" Avery asked, hugging me.

I sighed, "I'm good. I'm just worried about my mom and Mila." I responded honestly.

She looked up at me, "What's wrong with momma?"

From what Mila had told me momma was in a very bad space. I wanted to know what happened with my parents in the past, but I knew now was not the time to ask. "I honestly don't know, she's just been in her room last night," I responded.

"Damn I hate that. I hope she starts feeling better." Avery told me, hugging me again.

I kissed her forehead, "Thanks baby girl. Now I just need to figure out a way to take Karson down."

She pulled away from me, "What do you mean take Karson down? What do you have up your sleeve?"

"I meant exactly what I said." I responded honestly.

Karson has done too much damage to my family in the short amount of time of his arrival. He impregnated my girl and can't even own up to his responsibilities as a man and that shit I will never understand. He even threatened my sister, but the final straw was when his family left my house, my mother just shut down. That's when I really knew that something had to be done.

Avery sighed, "Whatever you do, just don't do anything stupid. I'll talk to you later." She pecked my lips before walking away.

Shortly after Avery walked away, Langston walked up to me. He looked like he didn't get much sleep last night. "What's good fam?" He asked dapping me up.

"Nothing much. What's good with you? You look like you didn't get much sleep." I said examining him.

He shook his head, "My mom was turnt after the dinner last night and when I asked her why she kinda snapped on me." He looked at me, "But enough about me, what happened to yo lip?"

I smacked my lips. Mila must have got my ass one good time. But there isn't any use in lying to Langston because he knows how me and Mila can get. "Mila and I kinda fought last night before my dad broke it up."

He looked shook, "Why were y'all fighting in the first place?" I basically explained to him what happened down to the part where Carlton was blowing up Mila's phone.

"So, what's the plan because we gotta off this nigga?" He asked while balling up his fist.

I put my arm around his shoulder, "Walk with me little cousin and we can talk about it."

Mila

Avery walked in our class and sat down next to me. She looked like she had something on her.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked her.

She sighed, "I think your brother is gonna do something stupid."

I raised my eyebrows, "How stupid?"

"He might do something to hurt Karson."

I laughed, "That's fine with me. He just beat me to it."

She sighed, "I understand why y'all don't like him. Hell, I don't like his ass either I just don't want Trevor to get in trouble."

"He won't get in trouble, he's smarter than what people give him credit for," I reassured her.

"I hope you're right," she mumbled under her breath.

I understand that she wants to protect Trevor, but she needs to realize how Trevor is about his family especially Momma and I. Karson crossed a major boundary last night and he has to pay the consequences for his actions. What's gonna make me mad is if Trevor doesn't involve me in his plan. I decided to send him a quick text.

Me: Are we going to the trap today?

Twin 💙💪🏽: Definitely, we need to discuss some shit.

Karson

Mila ignored me all day and that shit pissed me off. She knows she still wants me, she just has too many people in her ear. But that's fine because soon her bitch ass brother won't be in the picture. I pulled up to my house so I could start figuring out what I want to do with this situation.

I sat down in the living room and waited for my parents to get home so we could discuss some things. To be honest, I already knew about Mila's parents and what happened all those years ago; my mom was bitter. I also knew what my father did. I really didn't see anything wrong with it. From the time I was old enough to know what was going on, I was told what I had to do. It was my mission to get revenge and payback for my family and that's exactly what I'm going to do. Even if it kills me.

Sorry it's been so long since I updated. I lost my motivation for this book kind of, but I'm trying to get into the swing of things. My life has been very hectic. Don't forget to vote, comment, and follow.
