Shout out to DamnGina for helping me out with this chapter. Go read her books and follow her for me.

Makenzie

"So how are my grandbabies doing?" Mama asked me through the phone.

"They're doing good," I lied.

She smacked her lips, "Don't lie to me Makenzie, how are they really doing?"

"Hunter and Promise are doing good, but the twins on the other hand are being sneaky." I responded truthfully.

"Oh Lord," she mumbled. "What are those up to this time?"

"They came in past curfew the other night and I know they're lying to me about where they've been."

"Shit well let them lie, then beat their asses when the get caught up." She told me, making me laugh.

"Okay, I'll try doing that," I lied again.

"Mmhmm alright, I'll let you go then chile." She told me before hanging up.

I put my phone back in my pocket before going into Trevor's room. I knew he wouldn't be home until later because he was at this girl's house tutoring or at least that what he claims and Mila drove her car today so there's no telling where that child is going. I walked around Trevor's room and it looks like a typical teenage boy room. I went through his night table drawer trying to find any type of evidence so I could prove that I'm not crazy. I would turn his room inside out if I had to.

After about thirty minutes of searching his room, I couldn't find anything. I sighed before leaving out of his room and going into Mila's room. Normally I wouldn't even search her room, but I don't trust neither one of those heathens right about now. After repeating the same process, I came up empty handed in her room too. Smacking my lips, I walked out her room and ended up walking right into Tyler's chest.

"What were you doing?" He asked me with a smirk on his face.

I smacked my lips, "Nothing."

He laughed, "I know you're lying. Knowing you, you were probably doing something sneaky."

I rolled my eyes, not responding because he was right.

"Mmhmm, you're quiet because I'm right and you just got caught." He said, pulling me into a tight hug while laughing.

"Shut up Ty," I chuckled.

"Baby, I thought we talked about just playing stupid until we catch them."

I pulled away from his hug and rolled my eyes, "I don't remember us talking about that. I remember you having sex with me to try to agree with you, but it didn't work. I have my mind made up." I told him, before walking down the stairs so I can cook.

Trevor

I followed Avery to her house and parked my car in front of it. Avery pulled into the driveway and got out of the car and I followed suit. She unlocked the front door and I walked in behind her.

"Let's get this over with," I heard Avery mumble under her breath. "Go make yourself comfortable in the living room, I'll come join you in the minute."

She doesn't want me to get comfortable. Comfortable to me means walking around naked and fucking you on sight. I went to the living room and sat down on the couch. I looked at the floor and saw a lot of toys scattered around. Avery came back downstairs, "I need to go pick up my son from daycare." She told me, "You can come with me to get him."

Son?

Mila

"Twin I'm telling you Avery has a son," Trevor told me as he sat on my bed. To be honest, I really don't see what the big deal is. We don't know her story so why pass judgement?

I stared at him like he was stupid, "Why does it matter?"

He sighed in frustration, "I just didn't see that coming. The lil nigga was cute though and he took a liking to me."

I raised an eyebrow at him, "Wait, somebody took a liking to you?" I joked.

He grabbed a pillow and smacked me upside the head, "Shut up nigga, I'm being serious right now."

"Alright so what else happened?"

"After we picked up little man from daycare, we went back to her house and she tutored me and she saw that I was good with kids. I still might have a chance," he smirked.

I laughed, "Boy she's probably not even trying to check for any type of nigga." I told him, being completely honest.

"Yeah, you're probably right, but that won't stop me from trying." He responded, making me shake my head. "But enough about me, what did you do after school today?"

I shrugged my shoulders, "I was chilling."

He smacked his lips, "Probably chilling with that no good nigga."

I rolled my eyes. Here we go. "I didn't hang out with Karson today." I admitted.

"I know you're lying."

I smacked my lips, "What do I have to lie to you about Tre?"

He stared at me like he was thinking, "I don't know, but I'll find out. Anyways, I'm about to call it a night. Good night lil ugly." He told me walking out of my room.

"Good night ass wipe." I responded

Avery

Tutoring Trevor today wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. He was really good with Chance and actually knew how to hold a conversation unlike most of these niggas around here. At first I thought he was just here to try to get closer to me so he could try to have sex with me, but he proved me wrong. I wouldn't say I like him just yet, but if he keeps this up he might end up having my number.

My ringing phone interrupted me from my thoughts. I looked at it and rolled my eyes. "What do you want?" I answered the phone with an obvious attitude.

He chuckled, "Damn it's like that now Avery?"

I smacked my lips, "It's been like that since you slept with me that night I got pregnant and you denied him once he was born."

"Man stop bitching; you know damn well that he isn't mine."

"You were the only nigga that I've been with," I admitted.

He laughed, "Stop lying. You know you let every nigga in Houston hit that."

I rolled my eyes. I'm not about to go back and forth with him about what I already know. What is there to lie about? "Okay that's fine, just wait till I get a DNA test, I'm putting your ass on child support."

"Bitch, I wish you would."

I chuckled bitterly, "Wish granted, bye Karson."
