This post is about seeking forgiveness when you sin
You know that moment when you see that super cute guy you have developed a crush on walking by you in the hallway and you just can't help but sneak a peak? Then, after you do, you feel bad cause you know that it is haram to look at the opposite gender but you couldn't help yourself.
Allah Azawajal is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful
Remember that.
Yes, you commited a sin but Allah Azawajal will forgive you as long as you make istighfar and seek forgiveness. Allah Almighty didn't create you perfectly, He created you weak but He gave you the deen to help strengthen you and He gave you a faith to hold on to to make you stronger.
The Prophet Muhammad SalallahuAlayhiWasallim said that: Allah Azawajal created us as a people who would sin and seek his forgiveness. If we weren't sinners, then Allah would've replaced us with a people who would sin so they could seek Allah's forgiveness.
No, this does not mean in anyway that sinning is good, rather it means that Allah Azawajal doesn't expect us to be perfect but rather he created us as a people who sin so we could seek his forgiveness.
So, remember, every time that you sin or are about to sin, say IstighfarAllah.Allah Azawajal is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful
