School

I love/hate school. I love school because I get to play in orchestra for atleast an hour a day, and I love music so that keeps me going. But I hate all the projects. especially the ones that count for like 50% of our grade but they don't make us do those until the last 3 days of school. The pressure is real when you only have 3 days of school left! I'm going to be a freshman this year. I'm going to highschool and according to other people and wattpad books, highschool isn't exactly what it is on TV.

You don't bust out singing in the cafeteria like Troy and Gabriela.
(I'm still mad at Zac Efron btw) You don't get to just leave whenever you want like in Teen Wolf. I mean Stiles and Scott almost never show up to school, I'm surprised they even got to go to senior year with their attendance record. And if they did go to school they showed up like halfway through the school day which would be awesome.
(To be totally honest whenever I drive past the high school I'm going to all I can think of is Teen Wolf.)

Also when the counselors came to talk to us about graduation and college stuff I was like wtf. My head literally hurt after all the crap they talked about because I thought you could take whatever class you wanted and graduate and then go to college bam easy right? BUT THAT'S NOT THE CASE NO! You have to take certain classes to get into College! On top of that you have to have a certain GPA and that scares me because I'm pretty stupid! All of this was thrust into my head like a month before summer break and I literally went to the girl sitting next me: "I'm gonna fail highschool so hard." All she did was laugh because I legit think I'm going to fail so hard and not pass because again like I said I'm pretty stupid.

And since I am pretty stupid all I wanted to do after all that was this:

Now I don't know about you but like right before school starts, I notice all the school haul videos and the DIY school videos. Tbh it makes me even more nervous because what if my school supplies aren't Gucci enough? This is literally what I asked myself the summer before 8th grade. But then I decided not to give a crap and just buy normal school supplies, which I then regretted right after because everyone had better school supplies than me and I still had the same pencil holder from like 6th grade.

Now the first day of school can be stressful or really amazing. For me its stressful because first of all, I don't get any sleep the night leading up to it because my anxiety sky rockets just thinking about all the people that will be coming to this school from different middle schools. My anxiety also increases even more just thinking about how I will have to talk to these people. *shudders*
Meeting new people is not my thing and after I decide to be a wuss and not talk to anyone I regret it because all of my friends have different friends to hang out with and then there's me. The hoe who decided not to make friends. And since I didn't get any sleep the night before I turn into a hyperactive squirrel because all this anxiety is what is fueling me to keep going. Not sleep. Just anxiety, which leads people to question if I'm high.

The thing I hate most is when the teacher makes you do like the activities to get to learn stuff about one another. I mean c'mon half of the people here I don't care about! The people I do care about already know everything there is to know about me. Chances are that the people who I don't care about also don't care about me. So let's just save ourselves the time that you are wasting by making me share stuff about me with other people!

Then the teacher proceeds to say, "Well if you meet new people they may like you!"
Which just makes me want to say this:

So to conclude this rant, I think school is stressful. With all the tests and shit but in the end, I guess you make a lot of memories so I guess it's not that bad. Just don't tell anyone I said that.
