Band Merch

Ok so don't you ever get like really mad when someone who doesn't listen to a certain band wears their band merch?

Like c'mon, you should've thought about whether someone was gonna come up and ask you what your favorite album by that certain band is.

Seriously, that's the question I ask myself every time I walk into Hot Topic and look at a cool band shirt. I wanted to buy a Nirvana shirt because my bae Luke Hemmings had one and it looked really cool and I loved it but then I took a step back refolded the shirt and thought:

I don't listen to this band so what's the point.

And I walked away and bought a Supernatural shirt because I actually do watch the show.

The other day I saw someone with a Fall Out Boy shirt, I complimented their shirt, and asked "What Fall Out Boy songs do you know?"

Which they answered with, "Centuries and Immortals and I've heard some other songs on the radio too but that's it really."

So then I started to talk about Patrick and they were like: "Oh is that the guy that used to look emo? His last name is wentz right? So his name is Patrick Wentz?"

I had to take a step back and like look at this person because omg they didn't even know who was who and that upset me. I was like "Yeah no his name is Patrick Stump the Wentz dude's name is Pete."

So then I ended the conversation after a while and walked away. I see this person in the hallway at school and I can't look them in the eye it's too much for me. They don't know their bands it breaks my emo heart lmao.

Haha anyway this is how I feel about people who wear band merch and don't know the band, do you guys feel like this too?
