5SOS finding!

Hey guys what's up I was bored and I thought, Hey! Why not inform you on how I got caught in the death trap that is called.......THE 5SOS FAM.

OK so it's story time! So shut the fuck up and sit the fuck down because you all are gonna learn today. It's useless info but whatevs lol.

Ok so last year (2015) I was in class and it was the start of a new year of school, this was around september, and I was sitting with my friends Lauren and Joslyn. We were trying to do our work and the teacher had let us listen to music.

Well, me being me I forgot my headphones at home and my friend Lauren let me listen to music with her. So I was pumped and I was like "What are we gonna listen to?"

My question was answered when Lauren started playing Jet Black Heart. At the time of course I didnt know who this was by so because I found the song amazing I asked her,

"Hey, this is a good song who is it by?"

She of course responded with, "Oh it's by 5 Seconds of Summer."

When she said this I kind of had a flash back to like 2 months before in July when I heard the radio lady go, "Now playing is 'She's kinda hot' by 5 Seconds of Summer."

I found their song good so I thought maybe I'll listen to them. But unfortunately I didn't listen to them that day and a few weeks had gone by and it was now mid September. So again our teacher let us listen to music while we do our work and I was sitting with Joslyn and Lauren again. Except this time I had brought my headphones and was listening to my own music, but I had my music paused at one point because I was scrolling through my library, and I heard Lauren sing, "Good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught." in a really catchy tune. My reaction was omg what song is that it sounds really good, but me being my awkward self I didn't want to ask her what song it was and who it was by, So after that class I went about my day in school singing that one line and not knowing who it was from.

As soon as I got home I basically zoomed all the way up to my room to look up the song on my computer. I typed in the lyric and I was surprised to see that the song was by guess who?

5 SECONDS OF SUMMER

I loved the song after I listened to it and I went on a listening spree of their songs. I had found Don't Stop, She looks so perfect, Heartbreak Girl, Voodoo doll, and of course Good Girls. I also listened to Amnesia but the first time I listened to it I hated it. I know I'm a bad person.

I had kind of learned their names but I kept forgetting Michael's name. I also thought that you prounounced Calum's name as Kay-lum instead of ka-lum. I'm a terrible person omfg. (When I watched the good girls music video for the first time I had already decided what lane I wanted to be in and that was the Luke lane. I obviously didn't know there would be so much drama in it rn lmao.)

So I went back to school and I told my friend Lauren I was like,

"Hey I listened to that band you like 5 seconds of summer."

To which Lauren freaked out and quizzed me and again I forgot Michael's name and she had to correct me on Calum's name pronunciation too haha.

So then Lauren would share the new songs with me and I went home to listen to their songs. I now knew enough to be considered a fan.

And now it was probably 2 weeks before SGFG was gonna be released and I heard about their new album while I was on youtube trying to learn all their songs (I had listened to permanent vacation before I looked it up and I loved it omg). So I looked it up thinking it had already been released and when I looked the album up it said 'release date: October 23.'

I was shocked I was like oh it's barely coming out ok that's cool. And continued my research on them.

It was now like 3 days before SGFG came out and I was sitting in English at my table with my friends and a girl named Lily goes, "Yeah I'm going to get Sounds Good Feels Good on CD at target and get it on i-tunes."

At this point I was listening in and the girl she was talking to agreed and then they were talking about the songs that they were excited for. I cut into the conversation asking if they also sold the album at Wal-Mart. Lily laughed, nodded, and told me it was better to get it at Target because they carried the deluxe version.

So SGFG came out my friend Lauren had it and so did Lily and I had asked my dad if I could get it on I-tunes and he had said I had  to wait a so that he could deposit money in his card. I had to wait 2 days after it came out for me to be able to buy it, and it sucked because I really wanted to listen to it even though I didn't know all of their songs.

By November I knew all of the songs off the first album and half of the songs on SGFG. I knew a few of their old songs like Try Hard, Rejects, and Just saying. It was amazing I watched their old interviews all the time and I had learned a lot about them, like their personalities and what they each loved. I had even watched all of their twit cams.

My friend Lauren was so excited and we would fangirl together. I had also bought my first 5SOS shirt in November too and honestly it's faded now because of how much I wear it.

By December I knew all of their old songs and I had discovered that they were going on tour and I was excited. For Christmas, my really good friend, Delanie had bought me a guitar pick neclace that had 5 seconds of summer on it and the tally under the words. I was so excited when she gave it to me. It made me feel like my gift for her was crappy.

In January I got my best friend Joslyn hooked on them too and I was spreading the fandom along lmao.

Now I am in way too deep and I swerve lanes all the time haha.
