Shawn And the EMA's

Guess who's back? Back again? I'm back tell a friend!

Okay so today I got home from school and my mom was like,

Mom: "Who did you buy tickets to go see?"

Me: "Uh Shawn Mendes why?"

Mom: "Oh cause they talked about him on the Latin radio awards."

Me: "Hold up really!? They talked about him!?"

Mom: "Yeah they were talking about how he beat Justin Bieber at that award show twice."

After my mom said they had talked about him I was like my bae was honored on a Mexican award show wow! I'M SO PROUD!! I mean I used to love Justin Bieber and I don't like him as much now but I still respect him so no hate towards Justin but Justin is like #1 up on the charts since he was like 15. And for Shawn to beat him for 2 awards because of the Mendes army made me so proud I was like Damn my bae has grown so much! It feels like it was just yesterday when he was Disney Channel's NBT and then he only had Life Of The party, The Weight, and, Show You up on his Vevo.

Honestly thinking back to only those 3 songs being up is like making me emotional.

Now he's done a world tour, has 2 albums out and is on another world tour and I get to go to his concert I'm so proud omg. I feel like a mom at her son's graduation.

Also I made my cousin retweet a bunch of tweets so that she could vote for Shawn Mendes and like she's a huge Justin Bieber fan and because Shawn beat Justin I kinda feel bad, but then again I don't cause the Mendes army won the award.

So my dad got home and I was like:

Me: "Hey Mom who were they talking about on the radio awards?"

Mom: *gives me a weird look* "Shawn Mendes."

Me: "Yeah and who did he beat twice?"

Mom: "Uhhh, Justin Bieber."

Me: "YOU HEAR THAT DAD SHAWN WON THE 2 AWARDS NOT JUSTIN!!"

Dad: "Well Justin Bieber is like old news now."

If I'm honest I got a little offended when he said Justin was old I mean Cmon I was a Belieber since 2009. You can play his first albums and I'll be able to sing along to all the songs. I was in really deep.

But now I'm in deep with Shawn I'm honestly worried about myself.
