There's an old saying that werewolves use, "To the moon and back." The mood goddess created us and we thank her because to us it is not a curse but a blessing.
When I was a child my mother would sing me a song about the moon Goddess. It was about how the black of night had created the vampires. The Moon Goddess watched as towns of people disappeared. She wanted to put an end to it so she created us shape shifters. It ended with the werewolves going to battle with the vampires and wining but the vampires still exist but in a different time then us.
Now I live in the 20th century and have to act like the normal 16 year old I am. My mother said it was called the olden days when she was growing up. But shape shifters were still as important as ever before. By living on earth amongst the people we keep the vampires and other shape shifters in their times. We only have to live our lives dealing with rouges and other packs.
