Travis was out the door and shifting before I could even process what was happening. My mom and I just starred at the open door, speechless.
"What do we do?" I asked as I shut the door, I locked it for good measure.
"I think we should do what we normally do until your father get's home." Mom said picking up her cup of coffee. I let out a shaky breath and nodded.
"Okay well I think I'll go see Alpha now. I'm sure Travis will meet me there later."
"Do you want me to run with you?" My mom asked setting down her cup.
"No I'll stick to the trails. It's a quick run anyways, I'll be fine." I said heading upstairs. I went into my room and took my clothes off. I imagined Sophia my wolf and relaxed as my bones began to shift and pop.
That wasn't so bad. I thought. I felt Sophia beginning to wake up. Hey how do you feel? I asked feeling like a mother.
A lot better than yesterday that's for sure. She said with a small chuckle. Where are we going today? She asked stretching.
Alpha wants to see me for some reason, but I'm sure it's just to talk about beginning my training. I said grabbing my clothes in my mouth and going down the stairs. I gave my mom a nod and then went out the door.
Perfect, a good stretch of the legs. Sophia said as I began to run.
How fast can we go? I asked curious and also trying not to think about that sent from this morning.
Let's find out. She said speeding us up a little. We veered off to the right into the woods that were behind all of our houses. The trail lead to basically each house in our town.
We were speeding down the path when we shot right past Alpha. What is he doing out? He's not even in wolf form.
"Willow!" He called to me. I stopped, turned around and trotted up to him like a good dog. "Travis told me about the sent so I would like for you to stay here in the pack house. Also, I wanted to see how you were feeling after all the pain, but it seemed like you're okay." He said looking me from nose to tail. I nodded my big head.
"Anyways, just go on inside and change. Travis is in his room." Alpha said dismissing me. I nodded again and this time walked to the front door. I pawed it until someone opened it.
"Hey Willow! I heard about what happened. I'm so glad you're okay and your wolf is beautiful!" A girl, who looked to be about my age, said as she opened the door.
Thanks. I said as I ran up the stairs to Travis's room.
"Will! Sorry for running out like that. The sent freaked me out a little."
A little? It looked like someone set you on fire and then chased you with a taser. I said walking into his bathroom and shutting the door. I relaxed and imagined my human from and then felt myself shifting. I pulled my clothes on and walked out.
"Looks like I'm stuck up here with you." I said plopping down on his bed. All the sudden the sent came back to me. I felt Sophia waking up again and this time she started pacing back and forth while letting out small whimpers. I decided not to make Travis worry about the sent again so I just laid back on the bed and sighed.
