As I stepped out the front door I felt different. I'm not sure why but I felt like something was happening today. I pondered the feeling as I got into my dads car. He made small talk with me about school and some pack things. We pulled up to the school and I have him a kiss on the cheek.
"Have a good day sweetheart!" He called as I got out of the car. I smiled and waved before I shut the car door.
As I walked into the school I was greeted by the one and only Markie. "Hey Willow! are you gonna watch Eclipse tonight? It's going to be so cool! Apparently we're supposed to be in the dark for a full two minuets!" She said bouncing a little as she talked very quickly. I rolled my eyes at her and then realized. The Eclipse! It had totally slipped my mind.
"That's what I was trying to remember this morning! Thanks for reminding me Markie." I said laughing at myself. "See you later!" I called as I heard the five minuet bell ring. Wow is it just me or is this morning going by quickly? I still saw no sign of Travis so I just headed to my locker.
I opened my locker and grabbed my books for second and third hour and then headed to my first hour, gym, ugh. It's not that I hate it, it's just that I get really competitive about it and then end up hurting somebody.
I walked into the gym locker rooms and got changed quickly as girls started filling in and getting dressed. Today feels like it's going to go quickly. I already feel like the morning is speeding by.
