I was frantic. I couldn't move, couldn't talk and I could't breath. I could only lay at the top of the stairs out of sight from my parents in a curled up ball. Wait, I'm such an idiot! I'll mind link mom and dad.
I was just about to open up my link when there was a very loud knock on the front door. I listened as my dad opened the door.
"Travis, nice to see you!" My dad said. I heard him slap Travis on the back. "Come on in." I felt like there was a little fire in my stomach now. I sat up against the wall but I couldn't do much after that so I just listened and focused on breathing.
"Hi Mr. Black, could I talk to Willow?" He asked. I was surprised that he wanted to talk to me and the fact that he didn't reply to my text message made me even more confused. Why couldn't he just call me or something?
"Go right up." I heard my mom's voice join the short conversation. This is good. Travis will find me and then tell my parents we need to go to the hospital.
I heard him coming up the stairs taking two at a time, right when came around the corner he stopped just before he stepped on me.
"Willow?" He asked. "What are you doing? Are you ok?" He asked kneeling next to me. I shook my head no.
"You can't talk?" He asked looking worried. I remembered I was going to mind link my mom and decided to talk to Travis through mind link.
I don't know what it is but there's this really bad pain in my stomach and it's just getting worse. I said quickly. He looked surprised when I started talking but then answered.
"We should take you to the pack doctor." He picked me up easily and I flinched. "Sorry I'll try to make this a smooth run." We descended the stairs and went into the kitchen. "Willow is having extreme pain in her stomach and she says it's only getting worse so I'm taking her to the pack doctor." Travis said quickly.
"Oh my gosh. What's wrong?" Mom asked.
I don't know mom I just need to go to the pack doctor. I said angrily through mind link.
"Ok just go." She said. Dad had this look, like he was expecting this or he just looked worried, but I would choose number two.
Travis nodded and sped towards the door. Once we were outside he started running using wolf speed.
Travis has already shifted which means he knows the strength of his wolf, but he still has a lot to learn. He lives at the pack house because his parents were killed by roughes. Now the Alpha and Luna sort of watch him, but they really only train him.
We rushed into the pack house as another round of gut wrenching pain began in my stomach. Travis looked down at me saddly as he carried me to the third floor. He banged on the pack doctors door with his foot and then stepped back.
"Yes what is it?" The pack doctor said opening the door.
"She's in a lot of pain and its getting worse and we dont know why." Travis rushed out for the second time. The pack doctor motioned us in and had Travis lay me on the couch. The pack doctor took out his stethoscope and put it to my heart first.
"Can you take a deep breath for me?" He asked moving it to my stomach. I nodded my head and tried to take a deep breath, but only got a small breath before another piercing pain shot through my stomach. "Hmm. I'm going to call the Luna. She may understand this." The pack doctor said leaving my said. Travis replaced him and held my hand in both of his. My parents soon after came bursting through the door and sat next to me giving me worried glances.
Soon the Luna came through the door. She surveyed the room and then came to my side. Looking in my eyes I could only look back scared, in pain and confused. She then gently took my hand and smiled.
"Willow, you'll be ok. Your wolf is eager to get out and that means she will. The eclipse won't stop her and neither can you we just have to wait for it to happen. I'm sorry for the pain you are feeling, I can try to make something that will help but not take it away completely." She said holding my hand tightly. I nodded and she stood up. "She will be fine." She said calmly to my parents. They nodded but didn't stop giving me worried looks. Luna came back with a glass of something green and told me to drink it. It tasted like grass and lemons. The pain slowly went away and I decided to try and sleep.
