What we did; warmups, practicing men cut from kneeling on the ground (with the seniors), then preparing for Kiri-Kaeshi , half Kiri-Kaeshi then full Kiri-Kaeshi and a cut relay (men, kote and do).
What is Kiri-Kaeshi; Kiri-Kaeshi is successively striking the left and right men while moving in a present order. This is the first advanced technique kenodas (students) learn, and continue to do so, because of its importance in developing correct distance and pacing as well as building up stamina.
Oh boy, that day was exhausting, but fun. I enjoyed what we were doing.
