Wait... Shawn?!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~CHAPTER 13~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                I awoke to a startling sound. I wasn’t sure quite what it was, but I definitely knew that it wasn’t Daren messing around. Someone was here, in our room, and I sort of sensed that it wasn’t a lykeylioliamon. How could they have gotten in?! Daren and his father had specifically told me that only lykeylioliamons could enter this building. Now I was for sure freaking out. As silently as possible I get up and peek around the corner, into the kitchenette. Their face was covered. I noticed that body though. It looked….. It looked like Shawn’s. Hmm. That’s weird. Shawn’s not a lykeylioliamon.
        All of a sudden, Daren’s shower shut off and the unidentified person bolted out of our hotel room. Then I glanced over to Daren. He was only in a towel and I could feel my mouth literally start to water. His abs were perfectly defined, even without him flexing. His dark hair looked even better when it’s wet. His vibrant green eyes were burning into my chocolate brown ones by now. Daren was now staring at me, lust in his eyes. That kind of scared me, but it was sort of exciting too. I was always that girl no one ever looked at, more the less with lust in their eyes. I must’ve been seeing things because when I looked up from my hands, his eyes were back to normal. Some days he really confuses me.
        “Was there someone in here?” Daren asks.
        “Uh, yeah there was actually. They weren’t a lykeylioliamon though. I could just tell.” I replied.
        “How could you tell, Kelsa?”
        “I don’t know. I could just sense it. You others can’t do that?”
        “No, we can’t. Kelsa, I think you have a gift.”
        “That’s a lousy gift then. Who cares if I can tell if a person’s a lykeylioliamon or not?”
        “No, I think that this is going to become part of your gift, not your total gift.”
        “Oh. Well when do I know what gift I have?”
        “You won’t know until you fully mature as a lykeylioliamon or when the gift itself fully matures.”
        “That makes sense. I can’t wait.”
        “Kelsa, tell me everything possible about this person you saw. Where did you see them? What did they do? You said they weren’t a lykeylioliamon, right? Well did they look like anything or anyone you’d ever seen before?”
        “Uh, I saw them in the kitchenette. They were looking through the cabinets.  No, they weren’t a lykeylioliamon, but Daren, I think it was Shawn.  I think Shawn was in our hotel room. I don’t understand why though. He’d never want to kill me. I think it’s my father that wanted to kill me. He’s still alive. He’s going to come for me someday.”
        “Kelsa, you can’t rule out any possibility quite yet.”
        “YES I CAN! IT WAS NOT SHAWN! He just looked like him. It’s due to the fact that I haven’t seen him in awhile.”
        “Kelsa, please, just calm down.  We can talk about this after we order breakfast, okay?”
        “Yeah sure that’s fine.
        “What do you want?”
        “I don’t care.”
        As Daren called room service, I sat down and just thought. What if it had been Shawn? Could he be the family member? I don’t think so. He’s the best brother ever, and he’d give up anything for me. I think it was that despicable man I once called my father. He deserves to be dead, not Mom. As I reminisce, there’s a knock at the door; it must be room service. I wonder what Daren ordered me; I’m quite hungry.
        “Daren! What’d you get me?!”
        “Uh pancakes, eggs, bacon, and orange juice.”
        “How’d you know that was my favorite breakfast?!” I asked.
        “Kelsa, I never did tell you about my gift, did I?” He questioned.
        “No you didn’t.”
        “Well, I read minds. Also, as a plus, I know a person’s entire life history just by touching them.”
        “So every single thing that I’ve ever thought, you’ve heard?” I say with a peculiar like face.
        “Yes. Well sometimes I try to tune it out, but with you, it’s hard, because your thoughts simply intrigue me. I enjoy knowing what you think of me when I have lust in my vibrant green eyes. It’s quite pleasing. You’re gorgeous, though, and I wish you would think of yourself as that.”
        I’m blushing a deep, bright red by now.  I can’t form my words so I just think to myself, hoping he’s listening to my thoughts: I am not gorgeous. I think of myself as okay looking, but definitely not gorgeous. There are tons of gorgeous girls in this world and I’m not one of them, for sure.
        “Your blush is cute; I like it. And you’re right; you’re not one of them. You’re what they’re trying to be.”
        “Just eat your effing breakfast.” I say with a grumble
        “Oh c’mon, I KNOW you like it.”
        “I forgot about that. Is there any way I can keep you out of my head?”
        “Well, your brain is already starting to block me out, just because you want it to. If you want it bad enough, it’ll push it out. You can feel my gift trying to break past your walls that you’ve put up.”
        “Felt it!” Then I thought to myself: Say ‘high 5’ if you can hear me still.
        “Yes.”
        “You just imagined that I’d say ‘Can you hear me?’ didn’t you?”
        “Did you not?”
        “No, I didn’t.”
        Then Daren got up, stood me up, and kissed me with such passion, I thought I’d just melt. He pulled away slightly and whispered against my lips,
        “You’re amazing, beautiful, and I just wanted you to know that.”
