"Can I bring some new recruits as their first battle?" asked Darik head of the Dragon Unit. He was sitting in a council with the head member of each unit, the Legion General, and a captain. The were discussing a mission to attack Cheyenne Wyoming. It was not heavily guarded because it was out of the way of most of the fighting, and at the moment it was under League control. They had decided to send a group of soldiers from different units to capture the city. Darik had suggested that he bring his two new recruits in the Dragon Unit so that they could get some real battle training in a low risk situation.
"I have some recruits that could use a chance to do some real scouting and spying," added Malcolm the head member of the Falcon unit.
"That sounds good," said General William Smith the commander and general of the Legion. "Send all of the soldiers that were already decided on. Then if any of you have new recruits you wish to send than do it. Captain Benson, are you good with this?"
"Yes sir."
"Good, the mission will depart in three weeks. That will give these new trainees some chance to train. We will have more than they will expect with some of the dragons and wyverns along. They stand no chance."
On the other side of the county General Thomas Johnson of the League cleared his throat. "They will probably attack Cheyenne within a few weeks. We need to have our force there in a week and a half. A few of you mentioned sending new recruits. That's fine. It should be a low risk operation. They will probably only send Ground Unit Soldiers and maybe some griffins and wolves. They won't send Dragons or wyverns to something this small. They will expect only the troops already there. Once they attack we spring the trap and send in all our preassigned air division ships. They stand no chance."
