Dominic Walked back into the war building this time carrying a backpack filled with the things he wanted to bring. He did not need to pack much because the Legion would provide all of his essentials. In his pack he had his laptop, his smartphone a bag of his favorite candy, a sour hard candy with sweet fizzy liquid on the inside, and his wallet in which he had about thirty dollars in cash and his debit card.

Inside the building all of the people new members were walking around talking with friends or sitting and waiting for whatever would happen next. He saw Leo and walked over to him.

"Hey" said Leo "Do you know anything about how they're going to get us down to san francisco in one day. He told us we would be there between 9:30 and 10:00 but unless there's such thing as teleportation, I do not know how we're going to pull that off."

"Good point. I'm not sure, but I guess we'll find out."

Just then the man from the Ground Unit and the man from the Falcon Unit walked into the room.

The Falcon Unit man spoke with a loud commanding voice, "In five minutes you will all get on a plane to San Francisco."

Loud whispers broke out all over the room. "A plane!" whispered Eryn excitedly. "I thought that they needed gas or at least more electricity than we can get."

" You are not to tell anyone about this plane." said the man from the Falcon Unit. "It does not use gas or coal made electricity. It is entirely solar powered."

"Why haven't we heard about this before?" asked Leo. "With planes we could travel from place to place much more easily, and we wouldn't be stuck with only cars like cavemen."

"I know many of you are wondering why we have not opened this technology to the public. The simple answer to that question is that this plane is immensely expensive to make and maintain. The whole plane has to be covered in solar panels to produce enough energy for flight. Also it has to be manufactured using our limited energy supply. As you probably know, providing power for almost half of America takes a lot more energy than we can produce with clean energy sources unless we regulate what electronics can be commonly used. That is why we are flying out at night when we will not be seen.

"Somebody's bound to see us," Said Dominic to Eryn and Leo.

"Ya" replied Leo. "Just because we are flying at night does not mean we will be invisible."

The Falcon Unit man started talking again. "We will still probably be seen but in the past when we have done this there were no problems. It is not loud, so when we have gotten good altitude, we can be easily mistaken for a gliding dragon or wyvern. Now please make an even line at the double doors at the far wall"

They made the lines and were slowly taken through security. Getting all of their things checked. Then they filed out into the huge lot behind the war building. It was a large asphalt area with an airplane hanger and a small runway. The lot was surrounded by a tall metal fence with razor wire on top. Bright lights shone off off the fence at regular intervals piercing the dark air and illuminating the area.

Dominic had always wondered what was in the lot. Now he knew. The plane was taxiing out of the hangar and onto the runway. There it stopped. The plane was small, but it was definitely big enough to carry the twenty five of them. It was entirely covered with big solar panels, and the light from the fence reflected off their shiny surface. A door opened on the side of the plane, and a stepladder was pushed up to the opening. As they entered the plane, Dominic noticed how nice the plane actually was. In the front and back of the plane there were rows of comfortable looking chairs with plenty of space between the chairs. There was a row down the middle with two chairs on either side of the row. In the middle of the plane was an open area with a small table and two small couches. Between each of the regular seats was a little plastic stand on which rested two tablets, one for either side of the stand. On the ceiling above the table and couches was a holographic TV, and there was a remote on the table.
