Chapter 30: You tried to sacrifice me.

Collins POV

"So what is the deal with you and Hope?" Jake asked me. After the fight earlier he decided to come and show me around the bayou.

"She's my girlfriend?" I answered vaguely, giving him a questioning look. I really didn't want to talk about why we were arguing earlier especially with a stranger that turned out to be my brother.

Jake let out a small laugh. "Smart one, you need to learn how to control your anger before you snap."

"I don't need to control anything I would never hurt Jessie." I got more mad that he even thought that, He doesn't even know me or J or what we both been through together.

"Well maybe you won't snap at her but defiently towards someone else, I'm saying it from experience."

"Experience as in your first kill?" Jessie had told me that to trigger your curse that you had to kill someone, I thought it was quite intresting but dumb how is it a curse if you can heal faster and have better strength seriously I think it's pretty darn awesome.

"Yes, exactly I was young really young when I did my first kill I don't even remember, Dad always told me it was an accident since I was still so young."

Dad that word just made me think who my real father was I guess Jessie wasn't the only one lied too. "So how was our father like?" I wanted to know more.

"Oliver? Well he was a funny man he had jokes up his sleeve he could be an ass sometimes, all I know is that he was a good father especially since he was a single father, he helped me out a lot."

I couldn't really picture how this Oliver guy was, he sounded like any other dad and I wasn't jealous of Jake because I had my own family with mom and her husband I always knew he was never my real father but I didn't mind and neither did he.

"So how is mom?" Jake asked.

"Mom, she's a busy woman." I let out a small laugh. "She's like any other women nice, caring, overprotective you look like her in a way have her blue eyes." I saw Jake looking to the floor with a smile he was probably imagining how she was, we finally came to a stop next to a small lake and little cabins around and trailers.

"Well here we are."

I took in my surroundings it was different from back home but I think I could settle myself here. I called mom telling her I met my long lost brother I wasn't mad at her but she was mad at me for leaving. The only reason she left my father was for my safety and hers and I'm back here where it all started.

"Jake!" I heard a girl's voice and turned around to see a thin blonde girl with some clothes in her hands walking towards us. "You finally came to visit!"

"Of course I did how can I forget about my favourite person." Jake smiled at the girl and the girl didn't even notice me she was to busy gawking over Jake.

I cleared my throat to remind them someone else was currently here.

"Right umm Collin this is Lily and Lily this is my brother Collin." I was actually suprised that he introduced me as his brother. I was broken out of my thoughts when I fell to the floor and that Lily girl on top of me hugging me.

"Lily!" Jake yelled.

"Oh my god! I am so sorry! But I can't believe it's actually you! Obviously you don't remember me but how can I forget the boy that gave me this scar." She moved her bangs a little and pointed to her forehead where she had a scar running from her hairline almost touching her eyebrow. It was barely noticeable I guess her bangs covered it that's why I didn't even notice it.
