Chapter 33: Mikael

"Hurry up Hope, didn't your parents teach you better!"

"I'm not a freaking vampire haven't you guys gotten the memo!" I yelled. We had been running for about ten minutes or so from who? I had no clue, Finn had just said we had to run and buy us some time to find a way for me to get to the other side.

"Can we just take a break." I stopped running and had my hands on my knees trying to catch my breathe.

"We're almost there, come on." Finn grabbed me and with his fancy superspeed we arrived at what seemed like a creepy church.

"Who the hell is even following us!?" I yelled.

"Nobody just yet but we need a place to hide and not get you killed." Finn said.

"Oh yeah at a church? I know better, this is where everyone thinks they're safe but when you least expect it, it becomes your death bed!"

"What are you talking about?" Kol asked me.

"Scary movies?" They looked at me like they had no clue what I was talking about.

Bang!

I turned to see the doors of the church open but no one was there.

"Hope, run!" I turned around and there was an older man beating Kol.

"Let's go." Finn said and tried grabbing my arm.

"No I need to help Kol!" I tried to break free of him but it was useless he just ran out of the church with me next to him. "What the hell you just left him there! Who was that man?" I yelled furiously at Finn.

"He's going to be fine he obviously can't be killed now do magic so you can go to the other side."

"I-I-I don't know how to do magic." I started looking at my hands scared, was I going to stay here trapped or worse end up dead.

"Come on let's take a walk."

"A walk? We're dead I want to go back home with Hayley and Klaus. I-I I can't do this!" I started yelling and crying. "I wasn't born for this I'm not strong or brave, I'm so terrified right now I have been since the day I got kidnapped I can't -"

"Listen to me Hope, you can do this and you will go back home just stop crying okay. Your a strong girl for how your handling things let's just keep walking." Finn said I started feeling embarrassed because I put Finn in an awkward situation where all he did was pat my back.

"Brother." 

"Kol!" I yelled back and ran to him happy to see he was fine.

"Are you okay?" Kol started checking my face and arms.

"I should be asking you that, I'm fine."

"It's father, Finn. He doesn't know who she is he just felt her magic and I'm sure he's just trying to get to the other side."

"Where is the witch Kol, is it that Davina girl. Why are you protecting her!" I heard someone shouting, and there was the man walking towards us angrily. "Ahh Finn, why are you protecting the witch? Running mommy's errands are you now."

Finn had me behind his back and Kol was infront of Finn.

"Mikael, you should go." Finn said.

"And miss my oppurtunity to go back to the living? Never, I'm impressed Esther isn't here, so just hand her over before the she devil arrives."

I started thinking of something I could do and I got the answer, I couldn't do anything because I couldn't use magic. I needed to be brave everyone is trying to help and protect me even the dead and I'm hiding like a coward.
