Chapter 6
The video is the poem, in case you don't want to read it or whatever. It's called Punk Rock John, by Neil Hilborn.

Austin was getting ready to tell me his secret, that I was less than interested in.
Suddenly the door opened, it was Charlie. His eyes were wide, and his mouth was open.
"Oh shit." Austin fumbled "Dad. Hi." He jumped off the bed and stumbled in front of his father.
"Downstairs. Now." His voice was stern, and Austin followed Charlie down the stairs, shutting the door as he left. I opened the door slowly and peeked down to the living room through the narrow stair gaps. I saw Austin sitting on the couch and Charlie pacing in front of him.
"What were you doing?" Charlie asked rubbing his temples
"Nothing, dad. I was just telling Cam something."
"No Austin. You're drunk! And it looked like you were going to kiss him!"
"It's not like you haven't seen me drunk before--"
"That's not the point!" His father yelled
"Then what is the point?" Austin spoke louder than before
"No more drinking, you got me. I'm not going to let you throw away you'r future!"
"My future? Oh my god! You are sounding like a typical white dad on any movie."
Charlie took a deep breath "Just answer me on thing. Are you or are you not gay?" He looked up at Austin.
"What the hell does that have to do with anything!? So what if I was!" Austin yelled
"Go upstairs, I have a lot of thinking to do."
"Fuck you dad! I'm not gay. But I can't believe that would change your opinion of me. I though you were suppose to help people, but I guess that changes when it's your family." He gets off the couch and I run back up to the room. He comes in a few seconds later, seemingly sober. He lays face-first on the bed.
"You hear any of that?"
"No....Not at all."
"Liar."
"Dude. I'm sorry."
"It's fine Cam. My dad is just a dick sometimes."
"So is mine, but, all the time."
"Right."
"So what was that secret?"
"Oh, yeah. Uhm. I forgot."
"Sure. I'm going to bed." I said in a 'you wouldn't be in this mess if you didn't start with the secret thing' kinda voice.
"Yeah. Me too." He rolled over, turned off the lights and fell asleep.

Yooo! My first month is almost over, just a couple more days. Mhm, then I will only have two more months until I go back to being unnoticed by everyone. Just how I like it.
It's Saturday, 2:45 P.M. and I am just sitting alone in Austins room, listening to music and mindlessly writing. But as it turns out, it turned into a poem, here, here is is.
