I remembered when I first saw Daniel that his face seemed familiar. But I couldn't pinpoint it, so I never gave it much thought. But if Jay had been there when my mind was wiped, that meant when I saw Daniel for the first time, my mind was trying to register him as Jay.
I wondered if he knew, or if it was all some big secret he wasn't allowed to share. I gazed down at Jay's profile.

"Knife," I whispered. For some reason, it seemed strange to consider calling her Carly or Director Collins. To me... she was just Knife.
I focused back on Jay Holmes, then looked to Daniel. If these two were really twins... and Daniel knew it... then he could know something more about me. G.U.A.R.D. as a whole may not have known the details of my past life, but that didn't mean a few agents within it didn't.
Putting the two files away, I then moved on to a new task. When I was planning on coming down to floor one, I didn't think I would be looking through my friends' personal files, but I needed to make sure of something. So I went to the cabinets containing "Ls." There, I found a file that was strangely out of place. On the front, I didn't read G.U.A.R.D. FILE: CLASSIFIED. It said The W.A.T.C.H. FILE: CLASSIFIED.
My brow creased. In a whisper, I said to myself, "Justin's a W.A.T.C.H. agent...?"
I opened the cover.
