Alice wandered through the forest looking at her surroundings in deep thought. She found herself in front of a sign that had arrows pointed in different directions. One sign said "Dark Forest" , another sign said "Red Queen", the next one said "Flower Fields". Alice sighed and crossed her arms.
"Which way am I to go now?" she said to herself.
"You can go there or no where~" said a strange voice.
Alice looked around to see where the voice was coming from, and noticed two bright green eyes staring at her on a tree branch.
"How am I supposed to go no where?"
Suddenly the eyes and smile transformed into a floating blue and black striped smiling cat. The cat floated closer to her and grinned even more.
"Quite simple really, you just stay where you are.." said the cat calmly.
Alice tilted her head and looked back at the sign.
"Will any of these signs lead me home? Or at least somewhere with normal beings?" she asked
The cat floated over to the sign and chuckled.
"My dear, the only normal people are the ones you don't know very well..hidden behind a mask... But if you are willing to meet someone, I shall take you to him."
Alice sighed and nodded.
"Yes please! But ... who is this you speak of?"
The cat smiled and spun upside down.
"Why the Mad Hatter of course."

The Cheshire Cat led Alice through a different part of the forest that was much more colorful than the part she was in before. Soon they were out of the forest and headed towards a grand table with multiple chairs....but no guests. Except for one man sitting at the head of the table with his head down. He had a large black top hat that was covering his face, so Alice could not make out what he looked like. There were different cakes and pastries that covered the table, as well as different assortments of tea cups and tea pots. But what for?

Alice reached the opposite side of the table and cleared her throat.
"Uhm...Excuse me sir?"
The man slowly lifted his head revealing his long bangs and bright blue eyes. He was a handsome man indeed, but seemed very mysterious.
As soon as he made eye contact with Alice, his eyes widened and he got up abruptly from his chair. He climbed on top of the table and carefully avoided on stepping any cakes as he made his way over to where she was standing.
"Welcome Miss! You are just in time for the tea party! I have been waiting oh so very long."
"T-Tea party? But.. not to be rude, but theres no one here."
The Hatter looked around the table and shook his head.
"But you're here aren't you? Now that your here it is most defiantly a tea party."
Alice chuckled at the man and shook her head.
"What is your name, my dear?"
Alice smiled proudly at the strange man.
"Alice. My name is Alice."
The Hatter smiled fondly at her and extend out his hand.
"Jeffersons the name, but you can call me Hatter! In fact, please do." he said tipping his hat.
Alice nodded and shook his hand happily.
"Well Mr. Hatter, it is a honor to meet you."
"Likewise Alice."
*End of Flashback*
"Thats how it all started? My goodness, I wish I could remember these things in full. It's all chopped up in my head like a scattered puzzle." Ella said as she leaned back on the couch.
Jefferson smiled sadly and turned towards Ella.
"Ella my dear, I would like to ask you something."
Ella looked at him and smiled.
"Yes?"
Jefferson cleared his throat and sat up straight.
"W-would you like to-perhaps, ahem...go out...on a date? With me?"
Ella sat up and stayed quiet for a minute, making Jefferson even more nervous. He gulped and quickly began speaking again.
"I-I mean you don't have to, but I thought-"
"I'd love to."
"R-really?"
Ella nodded and took his hand in hers.
"I want to get to know you. Even though we've met before, I want to know who you are now . As strange as that sounds."
"It's not strange ...not at all."
END OF CHAPTER🎉 Its short but straight to the point! Theres going to be multiple flashbacks when Ella was in Wonderland throughout the story, so we can see how Ella and Jeffersons was relationship back then!
