Chapter1
"Carson Marie Reynolds get your ass  down stairs! You are going to be late.. Again "
That for anybody wondering is my lovely and always charming brother Sam. If you haven't picked up on it yet my name is Carson, before you ask yes I am a girl, no I did change my name. My mother (Bless her soul) let my father pick my name and I guess they were expecting another boy. Anyway I force myself out of my bed and I walk over to my closest putting on black ripped jeans with a gray tank top and a red cardigan. I walk to my bathroom grabbing my hair brush and I brush out my hair  twisting two pieces of hair and then tying it. I move on to my makeup bag. I take out my mascara along with my black eyeliner, I quickly apply it and I put everything away before walking out. I put on my black combat boots before grabbing my black backpack. I plug my earbuds into my phone putting my phone in my back pocket before starting to walk down stairs. As I walk down stairs I see my charming brothers chowing down on food.
" Wow! I don't see how any girl could resist you guys?!"
I say sarcastically as all four of my brothers flip me off I laugh grabbing an apple. Now you are probably wondering 'Well Carson where are your parents ?' Well they travel around the world with doctors without borders. We rarely see them so my older brother     Grayson took over the job of 'The parents'. Oh gosh I never introduced all of them, Well there's the oldest Grayson who's 26, Then there is Tyler who is 20 and last but not least Kyle who's my twin so we are both 18.
"Hey Car you almost ready?"
Kyle asks standing up and I nod
" Yes, but put your bowl in the sink "
He grumbles and picks up his bowl putting it in the sink before grabbing his keys.
"Stay safe don't have sex"
Grayson says as we walk out and I laugh, I get into Kyle's car it's a dark green honda that he got for 100 bucks from out uncle. I watch as the houses and the people pass, before we get into the school's parking lot. I get out after Kyle and I close the door fixing my hair a bit starting to walk as A car comes speeding up and almost hits me playing loud ass rap, I look closely and I see Logan King aka the most popular boy, the biggest player like ever. Captain of the football team yada yada you know the story. He always used to be my best friend (Shocking right?) We were best friends from when we were in our mom's stomachs to about 8th grade. I just shake my head and continue to walk to my locker, I open my locker and grab a few books before closing it again. I Take my phone out of my pocket and I turn on my music playing Time is running out by Muse. I look around seeing the Jocks with the Cheerleaders so cliched and so over done. Though not all of highschool isn't like this I mean the Geeks and Nerds are some of the most popular people in the school, The more ' Goth' 'Punk ' ish kids aren't isolated every grade makes it an event whenever they have a concert or band practice. And the list continues but you get the picture.Highschool isn't as cliched as it was when your parents went too. As I walk I feel an arm wrapped around my shoulder and I turn to see Holly ( The student body president) but better known as my best friend.
"Aloha C, did you see the posters for prom? "
She asks as we continue to make our way down the hall
"You mean the prom the prom that was going to happen last week but we got rained out ?"
She laughs and nods
" Yes, do you have your dress still ?"
She asks me and I nod, the sarcasm totally just going over her head.
We start walking down the hall talking and laughing. There's a loud gasp and a slap and I turn around seeing Logan and his 'Big three ' standing in front of a group of girls and well one of them slapped Logan. I cough to cover up a laugh as Holly loops her arm with mine.
"I can't believe someone slapped him, she should get a prize "
Holly says and laughs, see she absolutely hates him with a burning passion.. Well not him she hates the idea of 'Popular ', she also hates players and bad boys after getting cheated on more than like four times.
We continue to walk down the hall before parting way to our different classes, I groan and walk into math seeing the most bitchiest sub ever. I walk to my seat very much regretting my choice to not fake sick this morning and stay home, I take out my sketch book, might as well get some work done while she attempts to teach.

Oh thank god lunch is finally here,  I walk out of my science and start the short walk to the lunch room. I laugh seeing Holly pile her plate with food. I come behind her poking her and she squeaks turning around and glaring at me as I laugh. I pick up a plate of Orange chicken and a small bowl of rice. Holly and I walk to our normal table.
"How was the English quiz?"
I ask Holly since she has English before I do
"Oh my god it was so easy"
She laughs as I cheer
"Whoa calm yourself Car"
I look up seeing Charlie our other best friend looks at me with an amused smile
"You're showing too much happiness on school grounds "
He says again ruffling my hair before setting. Next to me
"So Charlie where were you this morning ?"
He smirks
"Hooking  up with Sophia in my car "
He winks and and Holly gags as I hit him in the back of the head.
"Ow Carson! I shouldn't have to deal with this abuse "
He groans and I laugh hugging him and he hugs my back hard. Holly's eyes widen and I give her a confused look and as I look around seeing Logan staring right back at me with a confused look. I just roll my eyes and turn back to my actual best friends, my true best friends not somebody who would ditch me after I told them I loved them.
