Forever is a Lie

Chapter 6

Before you start reading, I would like to take a second to dedicate this chapter ( And book) To my boyfriend.. For a while I didn't write, I thought I lost the passion and need to get my feelings out on paper but almost 9 months ago I met an amazingly geeky human/red panda and he gave me the confidence and helped me get the passion that I lost for writing back. So thank him every time that I update/ publish a new story, it's all because of him... NOW GO MY LITTLE PANDA'S AND READDDDDDD.

   

CHAPTER 6

LOGAN'S POV

I see her walking down the hall with her friends, she looks so happy and carefree. She flipped her hair over her shoulder as she laughed, a habit she picked up from this girl in middle school. How i know this you ask? I was with her sitting on her bed as she tried to get the hair flip and her laugh timed right. All these memories I have with her and I bet she doesn't remember more than half of them. She walks to her locker and her friends lean against the lockers on either side of her. Maybe I should go talk to her, I mean I could say i'm sorry for last weekend.. Maybe I could say sorry for everything

Don't be an idiot she told you to leave her alone, you fucked up and there is no way of coming back from that

I can always come back, I'm Logan King i can bounce back from anything.

But she isn't just anything or anyone is she?

Shut up.

Before I could stop the mental war that was about to break out in my head she left her locker and the bell rang.

It's about lunch, and I couldn't keep my mind off her all day.. She's everywhere I looked, every time I heard a voice i thought it was hers. I walk out of trigonometry and I head to my locker I look around half looking for my friends and half looking for her. As I turn the corner I feel a body crash into mine

"Oh my god I am so sorry I'm just so c-"

There it is.. That voice, I look down seeing Carson picking up her fallen books. She keeps apologizing, why would she be apologizing so much? I thought she hated me. Then it clicked, she hasn't looked up since I bumped into her or she bumped into me.. The details are still iffy but the point is that she hasn't noticed its me.  

"Carson.. Carson it's okay it's okay "

She looks up meeting my eyes and an emotion that I couldn't make out flashed in her eyes before she went from apologizing to trying not to cuss me out.

"Of course, I should've known I would bump into you "

She sighs running her fingers through her hair, it gets a little tangled up as she does but it looks hella sexy like that.

"Nice to see you too Carson, the weather is great don't you think ?"

I ask trying to make conversation but she just rolls her eyes and takes her phone out of her back pocket

"Goodbye Logan "

She turns and walks the other way around, once she's a safe distance away I punch the wall. I try and I try but she just chooses to either annoy me or be really hostile towards me. I make my way down the hall and my boys magically appear next to me, I swear it's like they know I'm trying to look cool. As I walk people wave and girls swoon, at least it looked like that. Some girls wink and others just wave and trust me on any given day I would be stopping and chatting but my mind is strictly on Carson. We walked into the lunchroom and I look around, everybody is with their groups... Geeks with the geeks, jocks with the jocks so on and so forth. As I look around I can't help but look for Carson, i see her with her small group of friends maybe one or two. They are throwing food and just laughing together not having a care in the world or not worried about the looks that they are getting from the other kids in the room.

"Look at the loser squad "

One of the cheerleaders say as they pass and I want to stop her and tell her to fuck off but that'll be bad for my reputation.

There you go again thinking about your reputation and not about the friendship... Isn't that what happened the first time you guys stopped talking?

Okay so you know the plan right? You are going to tell her that you don't want to be friends with a loser like her.

Okay but isn't that a bit harsh?

I asked vary timidly,  as the older popular kids smirked looking at each other before back at me. Two of them Will and Wade put their arms around my shoulder and sigh softly.

Do you want to be cool fresh meat?

I nod slowly

And they smiled, they clearly had a plan and I was going to be part of it one way or another

So you are going to tell her that you want nothing to do with her, and then you will be officially cool

Okay Okay I'll do it..

FLASHBACK OVER

"Logan? Logan?"

I shake my head coming back to reality, seeing a friend of mine shaking me.

" Yeah? Sorry zoned out for a second "

I look at Carson one more time before walking to my lunch table. As my friends talked one thing became clear..

I need to get Carson back.
