Chapter 3

"I totally failed my math quiz"
Holly says as she rests her head on my shoulder I laugh as I rub her shoulder.
"You did fine"
She shakes her head as i laugh a little as we continue our journey through the hall. I look around a little bit seeing everybody's talking and joking around.
"Oh hey, are you ready for this weekend?"
Oh shit that's right we are going to universal, see Holly's birthday was about a week ago but she couldn't celebrate (Family problems) So we are going to Universal to make up for it.
" Hell yeah"
We laugh and go to her locker and she lifts her head off my shoulder getting books and stuffs.
"Oh my god i was go close to getting with him"
Two girls pass us and I roll my eyes
"I thought he was going out with Bell?"
The other girl says as the first girl shakes her head
"Nope they broke up a few weeks ago "
" you should hit that, he was checking you out yesterday "
I roll my eyes and Holly locks her arm with mine
"Let's get the hell out of here"
We laugh starting to walk down the ball again to our next classes.

I walk down the hall to my locker, I check my phone seeing 2:30 on my phone as I take out my stuff. I close my locker and I turn to walk away when I bump. Into someone causing both of our stuff to fall.
"Oh crap I'm sorry "
We both say and I look up seeing Logan, his eyes meet mine and widen.
"Carson?"
He says softly before shaking my head bending down picking up my stuff before walking down the hall.
"Car, car hold on!"
I hear him following me down the hall as I reach the double doors to the outside.
"C-bear talk to me please "
I pause and I turn around
"Don't call me that... Never call me that again"
He looks a little taken back by my outburst but held his ground
"Well at least you're talking to me "
He smirks and I groan
"Of course you'd say something like that right now "
I roll my eyes and he puts his hands in his pockets
"Nice to see you too Carson"
"Hey Logan, it's been awhile "
He nods and the silence fills the air
"You look nice car, how have you been ?"
"Thank you, so you I'm good how are you?"
"I've been good living life you know.."
I nod running my fingers through my hair
"Well I should.."
He says and I nod
"I'll see you around "
I turn to walk away again to find Holly.

"So wait he actually talked to you?"
I nods as I sink my teeth into my sandwich and she laughs
"Maybe he was thinking you were someone else?"
I nod shrugging it off, I finish my sandwich and I take a sip of my drink as she finishes her food. We split the check since we went to this small little diner near the school.  We go to our different ways and I drive home humming along to the music playing from the radio. Once I get him I see Grayson talking in the phone and Tyler watching a movie.
"Hey guys I'm home "
I walk into the kitchen grabbing a water bottle before going back to the couch scrolling through social media
"Hey how was school ?"
Tyler asks as I shrug
"Good you know just the usual
Besides my ex best friend /Ex crush talked to me
Shut up
"Good, we are going out to dinner with our grandparents in about two hours so dress nice "
I run upstairs and I close my door and I go to my closet looking at my choices
Gross
Gross
Why do I have this?
What am I 73 years old?
Perfect
I remember my grandma bought me a dress about a month ago. I pull it out, it's burgundy with spaghetti straps and a black laced belt, and It has a bit of a sweetheart. I smile and I lay it on my bed and I take a quick shower changing into sweats before blow drying my hair and I plug my straightener in. Taking out my makeup bag putting but on some foundation/conceded then black eyeliner and finally mascara. I straighten my hair before plugging my curler in and I loosely curl my ends. I walk back into my room and I step in the dress zipping it up and smoothing it out. I walk back to my closest and take out a pair of black bootie heels prying I don't fall I slip those on and I put on a sheer black kimono thing with black lace on the bottom and on the sleeves. I check my phone seeing I had 30 minutes left so I toss my dirty clothes in the hamper and I put my make up, straighter, and curler away. There's a knock on my door and I walk over opening it seeing Grayson, he's wearing a white shirt with a gray tie and black skinny jeans.
"You look nice car "
He smiles and I smile back and I look more closely laughing
"You look great gray, but fix this "
I say fixing the knotted mess he calls a tie while he laughs
"Yeah well mom usually does my tie"
I laugh as I finish his tie and there's a loud thud and screamed
"Do they ever stop ?"
I shake my head as he sighs kissing my head before he runs down stairs. I grab my black shoulder bag with a bit of fringe on the top. I grab my earbuds, phone, wallet,  and some make up. I walk down stairs texting Holly back as I enter the living room. My brother are throwing things at each other before they stop and look at me
"Car you look.."
"Horrible go put a sweater on young lady !"
Tyler cuts in and I roll my eyes tossing a pillow at him.
"What do you want ? Me dressing in a long dress that is long and covers everything?"
He nods and I groan as Grayson just shakes his head.
"Come on guys we are going to be late "

Making my way downtown..
Can't keep my hands to myself..
Is it too late now to say sorry..
I groan leaning back as my brothers mess with the radio.
"Oh my god  you guys pick A damn song !"
They turn around and glare/rolling my eyes. I put my hands up in mock defense. They go back to messing with the radio for a while before settling on stressed out by twenty one pilots I look out the window humming along to the song. When we get home I walk upstairs and change into black leggings and one of my dad's old shirts. I go into the bathroom taking off my makeup. Once I'm done I walk back into my bedroom and snuggle into my bed turning on Harry Potter.
