Isabelle's P.O.V.:

I slowly blinked my eyes, as I woke up.

Where on earth was I? Scared, I looked down, checking that I was fully dressed. Finding that I was, I sighed in relief.

On to the next part: exploring.

I took in the royal blue walls, with silver vines and leaves tracing over the paint of almost each wall. The only exception was the last wall, next to the bed. The entire wall was glass.

Looking outside, I gasped at the beautiful view. There seemed to be some kind of medieval village in the distance, surrounded by forest on two sides, and an ocean on the other two. There were also huge mountains in the distance. It looked to be around sunset, from the fiery red-orange sun that was descending into the dazzling blue of the ocean.

The sky was a painter's wet dream, I thought to myself, humorously. Just at the bottom, there was a deep, velvety black that was quickly taking over the sky. The pale crescent of the moon had already started to rise, even as the sun continued its descent.

Alex's P.O.V.:

I had been so scared when we had gotten her to our land. She was little more than skin and bones, covered in dirt. She had gone too long without eating, and her body shut down.

We were all terrified, terrified of losing our mate.

She had to be given three blood transfusions, and was fed through multiple tubes.

If we didn't force each other to eat, taking turns with one another, we would have probably been in the same state as Isa.

After a month and a half, we were finally able to take her back to the pack house, and place her in our room.

The doctor said there was a high risk that she could lose her memory from the coma. After talking with one another, we finally agreed that it would be best to not mention her Uncle, should that happen. The chances were 50/50.

Since the doctor had said she should be waking up within the next 48 hours, we decided to clean ourselves up, and quickly eat.
