Lyra grabbed her bags and loaded them in her baby, Ivory, a white on white 2016 BMW M4 convertible. (Pictured above) She put the top down and drove to her first appointment.

She stopped next door at a cafe to get tea and a muffin. She took her time sipping her tea and eating her muffin because she still had over an hour to burn.

She heard someone talking about Les Twins and spotting Larry looking sexy at the airport. Lyra dabbed a tissue at her eyes until her nose started to run, then she ran to the restroom to blow her nose and splash some water on her face.

"Pull it together! He's gone! Crying never fixed anything!" She yelled at herself in the mirror. A few ladies looked at her strange as they exited the restroom.

She rolled her eyes and started digging out her phone to talk to someone but who?

Ashlie would be busy like most of the people she knew who were attending her party. If she called Wall, Jam or Q like this they'd sound the alarm and circle the wagons and she miss all her appointments trying to calm them down. She dialed her mom, well Ashlie's mom.

"Happy Birthday baby!" Anjeline answered the phone.
"Thank you Mom. How are you? Anything exciting happening there?" Lyra asked with a smile.
"Ah, pre-party boredom, how much time do you have to fill?" Anjeline smiled.
"About forty-eight minutes." Lyra sighed and Anjeline laughed.
"Oh? Ashlie tells me you broke up with your Frenchman and found a boring Italian?" Anjeline asked. Lyra could tell she was smiling.
"The Italian is not boring. He's a cultured gentleman." Lyra defended.
"Oh?" Anjeline's voice lilted. Lyra could picture Anjeline sitting in a chair sipping tea with a knowing expression on her face.

"Okay, subject change?" Lyra asked biting back a smile. "I know Ash has told you about what happened with Larry."
"She has. Let me guess, days of constant apologies and begging followed by a few sweet gestures?" Anjeline asked.

"He made the cutest, most delicious minicake and gave me two boxes from Tiffany's." Lyra replied.
"In the boxes?" Anjeline asked.
"2 ct. diamond solitaire pendant in a platinum setting with 1 ct. solitaire diamond earrings. I would say E color but it could be F." Lyra summarized.

"Sounds like someone advised him well and he purchased you some very beautiful gems. What was your question?"
"After he gave me the gems, I touched his hand while saying thank you. He kissed my hand then removed his, next thing I know he left my house." Lyra finally asked, "He isn't coming back, is he?"
"Do you want him to come back?"
"I don't know, yes?" Lyra replied half-hearted.
"Really? And you have forgive him?" Anjeline asked.
"More than the kind of forgiveness I extend to my mother but no where near to the kind I gave Ashlie for the thing that almost ended our friendship." Lyra explained.
"Oh." Anjeline replied thoughtfully then asked. "Are you sure you want to forgive him?"

"No." Lyra replied quietly. "But I have to. I don't recognize myself anymore." She added after a few moments of looking in the mirror again.
"When you see him, do you want to hit him or hug him?"
"Both," Lyra sighed.
"Well," Anjeline paused for a long time, "I say hug him then hit him." Anjeline laughed.

"Mom, I being serious." Lyra replied.
"As am I. Just make sure you put everything you into each. For now I suggest you not worry about it, wear his gifts and your gorgeous smile. A teary-eyed birthday girl does not go well with our gift." Anjeline said cheerfully and Lyra smiled.
"Thank you and Dad for my present I know it will be beautiful." Lyra replied sincerely.
"I will tell him baby. Talk to me later you have ten minutes to get to your appointment." Anjeline announced. "Love you baby." Anjeline said in her motherly tone.
"Thank you Mom, love you too." Lyra hung up and left the cafe for her spa appointments.
