Awf ibn Malik reported that Muhammad(SAW) said.
"The Jews split into seventy-one sects, one will enter Paradise and seventy will enter Hell.
The Christians split into seventy-two sects, seventy-one will enter Hell and one will enter Paradise.
By Him in Whose hand is my soul, my Ummah will split into seventy-three sects, one will enter Paradise and seventy-two will enter Hell."
Someone asked,
"O Messenger of Allah, who will they be?"
He replied,
"The main body of the Muslims.(Mummin)"[29]
Still in the Hadith Literature Muhammad(SAW) "Allah will bring out people from the Fire and admit them into Paradise."
Also in the Quran "Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve."
Also Muhammad (SAW) said, "Surely a time will come over hell when its gates shall be blown by wind, there shall be none in it, and this shall be after they have remained therein for many years."
