Robbery

There he is standing right I front of me James Miller . They was no words said between us as he was introduced to the team . I looked like a hot mess .But relived as i was SAVED .Boss called us , a banks being robbed now down town , kit up fast !!! "Swat is delayed so they need us , nobody robs my city " said Voight tense and so serious ."Hey Miller hear is your HK416 gun I guess you know how to use it ." We all have HK416 guns for our self . "Your partner is Iris Jones , I believe you have already met ."He said with that smirk .

As we all run to our cars  like they are running away , but of cause  i almost forgot I have a partner James , we are still silent not a word since he kissed me and I pulled away or basically denied him , you should have seen his face like no one had ever denied him before priceless  .should I have kissed him , who knows .I brake the silence by demanding " i am driving " alarming me he also demanded " drive fast and keep up with the overs ." We jump in car engines starts roaring . I wouldn't normally drive but letting James drive he has no chance he probable drives carefully what we don't need at this tense moment . " I didn't know you wanted to be in the police ? " I say open minded , what was I thinking don't talk to him my brain was telling me , also telling your going to have to speak to him sooner or later  ." Why do you want to get rid of me already  ?" James says whiles looking at me ." No , just don't get too attached ." I say scared . We are going full speed my foots on the gas .

We arrive I stop the car almost sent me and James flying or shall I say Solider Boy  flying . But that's before he kissed me . Bang bang bang shots are fired at us . I jump behind the car door taking cover . I shout at James " you hit ??? ." NO RESPOND . Why isn't he responding ? My hearts pounding out my chest , tears are rolling down my face . I run around the back of the car still covers to James .

Then I see him their fine just focusing on trying to shoot one of the criminals . I bellow at him with all my breath you stupid idiot , why didn't you answer ? He said surprised " I am focused on shooting these criminals ." He said with so much rage , I have never seen him like this , it's like the man who kissed me had disappeared . Voight had spoken to one of our police teams , they is 2 robbers scene but they don't know if they is any more , both armed . He radioed it In . Millions of police officers surrounding the grounds everywhere , but wasn't ordered to go in as they didn't know how many hostages where in their and wasn't risking it .

Suddenly Voight got a call it was the robbers inside .we couldn't hear any hostages . He said tell all your officers to stand down and let us get out alive and away from hear exchange of hostages . Or they will all die !! All of them !!!

Unexpectedly I walked out hands up placed my hand gun tucked in my jeans at the back . James yelling at me " get back now Iris " he couldn't stop me I was in the open , what was I doing yet a have a bullet proof vest but they can shoot me with a head shot and they will be no me coming back . I was thinking we need Intel . I am a few centimetres away from the doors of the bank when I hear as I almost jump out of my skin  "drop your gun and take of your bullet proof vest and turn around hands in the air still , before I even enter the door they know I am armed , do I do what they say and die or don't do what they say and die anyway .... What to do ???

I take out my gun slowly and place it in the ground and then I turn around slowly facing all the police and James , I am I going to die now facing James ? Then I do a stupid thing and take of my vest . I speak throw my ear piece saying can you get a shot . " Negative" then I turn back around and walk into the building with no weapon , all i have is self defence but my bet is on the gun, they take out my ear piece . That's when I thought that's the least time I see my team you walked into a death trap . As I count all the hostages 15 of them mixed genders and then the robbers 6 of them all armed . But I had to pick the leader out that wasn't hard to tell . The black sheep he was . Without warning the phone rang ring ring ring , the robbers answered and then they was mad the leader was shouting at the other robber yelling " I knew we wouldn't make it out of here alive , then the earned down the phone we will kill your police officer if you don't give us your demand ." Then shots are fired , " next one will go through her head ." He alarmed . ( I mustn't feel afraid , fear is their power , what's the least they can do ?, aww I hope James can shoot a gun correctly ).

Voight said " bring us one some hostages and I will make sure you get out alive ." The phone was slammed down and I was ordered to get up I was not shot , yet . They gathered 3 hostages and poked me to get me outside he said "you run we shot you and all you hostages . Get it ? " yep I said laughing at him a bit ( wow Iris great move now he's going to kill you for the sake of it .) I opened the door and stepped out side the relief in everyone's eyes I led the hostages behind me and as they out back I signalled James using military coding saying they is 12 hostages left and 6 robbers armed , Make a diversion ,then I was ordered to come back so I spun around quickly and walked quite fast . I returned to the bank . 1,2,3,4 minuets pasted by , bang ,then I hear like a bomb go off . I run to the nearest robber and flipped him over like a rugby tackle , he was laying on the ground in pain ,moaning  like a baby , I grabbed his gun point it at him and then suddenly , police raided the place and the robbers had no where to go surrounded . Then as I leave I see Voight he slaps the Alpha robber around the head and says sternly " not this town mate ."

The hostages out the bank and contacting their family's , whereas me I was getting checked out by the medic to tell Voight I was fine and not a single Scratch on me . I was cleared and we where told to go back to the station . I gathered my bullet proof jacket and earpiece but my gun was no where to be found , I went back to the car , James was at the boot packing his gear up . He teased me and said " I believe this belongs to you " as I try and grab my gun he pulls me closer and whispers in my ear " what was that all about you crying for me now Jones  , do you have feelings for me Jones ? " I say also whispering so no of our coworkers can hear " what do you like flirting with girls or being a idiot ?" " Hey I have saved you life twice now " he says facing me now . Good I reply keep saving it it might be worth it  . We hop in the car but James gets himself in the drivers seat , " what do you think your doing ?" I say realising he is in the drivers seat. " " You just relax you nearly died  , you can only do so much at once ." Without argument I just got in and he zoomed of to the station .

Back at the station , I was getting changed and then James appeared around the Corner and said "you never answered my question Jones " ....
