((A/N: I am well aware that Andy's dad died when Andy was little but iM TRYING TO MAKE THE STORY PROGRESS AH ~Andrew))

Andy and Joe walked up Andy's doorstep, stopping right on the porch. Their date had been beyond fantastic and Andy couldn't of been happier. After they ate, Joe took them out to a small laser tag place downtown and then they got ice cream afterwards.

"Tonight was probably one of the best nights I've ever had." Andy whispered, trying to be semi-quiet since it was late and half the neighborhood -including his parents- were probably asleep.

"Honestly, you made tonight so memorable for me. Thank you for that." Joe responded and Andy smiled, pressing a kiss to Joe's cheek and fishing out his key.

"Text me when you get home so I know you made it safely." Andy said and Joe nodded as Andy turned his back to Joe and silently slipped inside.

Joe turned and walked down to his car, driving home to the dull hum of the radio, the smile plastered on his face refusing to go away.

Andy slid his shoes off in the dark room and silently crept up the stairs to his room, only to hear someone's voice clear and the kitchen light turn on.

"Andy, why were you out so late?" Andy's father asked, standing against the kitchen counter and sipping what Andy assumed was tea.

"Umm...I was out with some friends?" Andy said, more like a question than anything.

"Andy you don't have to lie to me. If you were out on a date I don't care. You're almost an adult, you should be able to make your own decisions. I'm not mad at you. However your mother is slightly worried. She came home from work and was surprised you weren't here. I convinced her you just went out with Brendon and Ryan and spent the night at Brendon's house which seemed to calm her." Andy's dad smiled.

"Thank you so much dad. I'd hate to see her stressed."

"So who's the guy?" Andy's dad chuckled and Andy blushed.

"Dad...if you must know, his name is Joe. He's super nice and really pretty. You'll like him a lot." Andy started, his eyes growing as he spoke of the curly-haired, blue-eyed boy that had stolen his heart.

"Sounds lovely." Andy's dad finally said.

"You look tired though. Why don't you head on upstairs and get some rest. We'll talk in the morning and don't worry, I won't tell your mother." Andy's dad smiled.

"Thank you so much, dad." Andy said, quickly hugging his dad and quietly traipsing up to his bedroom.

He opened his door and almost screamed when he saw Brendon and Ryan sitting there, Brendon at his desk chair and Ryan on his bed.

"If you scream, we'll kill you. We just want to know how the date went." Ryan stated.

"It was fucking incredible." Andy sighed happily, closing his door and falling face first into his bed next to Ryan.

"Details, Hurley." Brendon pressed and Andy rolled his eyes, turning so he was facing the ceiling.

"He's just so perfect. Tonight was amazing. He took us out to eat, we played laser tag, we shared an ice cream cone. It was probably the most cliche date I've ever been on but damnit I loved every second of it." Andy ranted and Ryan squealed, coving his mouth and squinting his eyes.

"You guys are so precious oh my god!" Ryan whisper-yelled and Brendon smiled at his boyfriend.

"Ignore him, he's just a giant softie. But bro, I'm glad you've found someone. Are you guys going to go out again?" Brendon asked and Andy thought for a moment.

"I mean I hope so. He's so wonderful and kind, plus he's just a bubbly guy to be around. He's easy to talk to and he's so considerate of what he says. He's perfect, guys." Andy groaned and Ryan dramatically gasped as he held a hand over his chest.

"That's sweet. However me and Ryan have to go because my mom thinks we're asleep in my room so we've gotta blast. Have fun with lover boy." Brendon winked sliding Andy's bedroom window open and climbing down, Ryan following suit.

Andy pulled off his date clothes and put on some basketball shorts as he fell into his pillows and opened his phone as he waited for Joe to text him that he made it home safe.
