Your snarky smile contradicts that "sorry"
It's twisted, just like your heart
You talk to me as if I am a child
Unable to see the shark
But, oh, I see the teeth when you grin
Waiting to rip the flesh from healed wounds
Gnashing and wildly flailing about
Leaving those around you in ruins
A death stare coming from hardened eyes
I see you looking for your next meal
Yet I've prepared these years to battle
Burgeoning a callous heart to wield
