Pete's POV

The whole team runs back into the locker rooms and I hear chants of 'You're the man Stump'.

Some man stops me.

"Great game son, you got your heart set on a college yet?" He asks me.

"Yeah, I've had my heart set on Yale since I was a little boy" I tell him.

He laughs a little bit and hands me a card.
"You know what, get your parents to give me a call alright. We're not Yale but, I think you might like what we have to offer." He says.

"Wow thank you so much" I take the card from him.

"No problem, great game" and then he walks outside leaving me alone in the walkway to the locker room.

I look and see Patrick standing at the end of the hallway he approaches me smiling.

"You did it, you were great" he tells me.

"Yeah it was awesome we kicked ass out there, it was amazing. I felt like part of the team." I smile back at him.

"Yeah" he says softly.

"Oh yeah, the interview, how did it go?" I ask him.

"I think we did pretty good I actually felt smart for once" he says.

We stand there for a second staring into eachothers eyes.

"If I had to spend my life as someone else I'd be honored to be you" he tells me.

"Ditto" we both laugh.

"Double ditto" he continues.

"Double double ditto" I trail off.

Then it gets quiet and I feel a wave of cold wash over me. That's when I notice I'm back in my own body.

Patrick's POV

Yes! I'm back in my own body!

The football team comes from the locker rooms and picks me up to carry me inside.

"I'm back you guys" I say.

"What are you talking about you've been here" Brendon says to me.

They set me down and Hayley is standing right in front of me.

"You were amazing out there" she pulls me in for a sloppy kiss.

I pull away and see Pete's face fall as he turns around to walk away.

I run after him but, he's already gone.
