Pete's POV

I wake up to the sound of the soft music for my alarm playing. Yawning, I get out of bed and decide what to wear for school.

Once I choose my outfit I go downstairs and greet my parents. Once I'm done eating my oatmeal I give my mom a kiss on the cheek and start walking to the bus stop with my things.

Patrick's POV

Fuck. I have school today. I jump out of bed and realize I have a boner so I take a cold shower and rush downstairs.

"Mornin' boy" my dad says to me and I mumble a 'mornin' back while I sit down waiting for whatever my mom is making for breakfast.

She puts a plate in front of me and scrapes the pan full of eggs, bacon, some BBQ sauce and god knows what else and I start eating.

"There's a game comin' up" I look up from the newspaper and nod.

I hurry to finish eating and run outside grabbing my things.

I see Bren pull up and I jump in his car since it doesn't have a roof. He starts playing Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard.

After a few minutes of speeding through the neighborhood Bren breaks the silence.

"Hey isn't that the gay virgin walking next to a big puddle" he says pointing to my neighbor.

I nod grinning "Yes it is"

He looks at me "Wouldn't you think he would be smart enough not to walk near a big puddle"

Then he speeds up and runs straight into the puddle splashing the boy.

We start laughing and go even faster to get away.

Pete's POV

That jerk. He got my clothes all wet on purpose. Great.

When I get to school I ask the man with the leaf blower if he can dry me off.

He does but, now I have puffy hair.

I walk into the school earning laughs and stares. Once I get to my locker I see the head cheerleader and her boyfriend making out right next to it.

Once they pull apart Patrick says "Nice hair" grinning.

I ignore him while I get my things out of my locker and shut it staring at them.

"Yeah but, have you ever thought that once you get out of highschool all of this will he worthless. It won't do anything for you, you'll be living in a trailer with her and drinking away your life while she has already faded looks and is married to you and you won't even know it but, she will be cheating behind your back with the lowest life forms on earth. None of this will matter once you get out of here." I say with a straight face.

Hayley watches me with a disgusted look on her face while Patrick just shakes his head.

"Well at least I'm not a gay virgin" he says and walks away.

I just grab my stuff and walk to my next class.
